Yum! Amazing Sunday lunch. Would recommend the bloody Mary on the happy hour menu 😁.

While I absolutely loved the service and food. I don’t think you really get your bang for your buck. Very small portions. I spent $79 before a cash rip of 25%

6 tiny pieces for each sushi roll. Appetizers were the best I’ve had! At least the crab Rangoon!

I would eat here again. But maybe once I’m rich.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hiro for 15 years, but I must admit that this location falls short in comparison to the West Maple location. Despite living downtown, I make a conscious effort to dine at the West Maple location because the food is simply better. The managers have been unpleasant on a few occasions, but I’ve learned to overlook those incidents. However, I only visit this location out of sheer convenience. On the positive side, the atmosphere is on point.

After ordering the Korean beef they came out and told me that it was made with Mushrooms 🥴🤬. The food was ok it's not all that. Prices are a bit high ,portions are very small.

I hope this company realizes how lucky they are to have people still work for them and support them after the shady business they’ve done. Do better. Food had gone down TERRIBLY in quality.

Their food is consistently bad. I’ve eaten at multiple locations and the quality has gone downhill across the board. The service was just as disappointing. I gave them another chance and regretted it. Unless there’s a major change in management and a serious improvement in the food, I won’t be coming back. We sent the food back after it arrived late and cold.

Volcano roll was not good and way too expensive. It was way overcooked, weird taste to the salmon in the roll. I would never order it again. The ambiance is more high school cafeteria than upscale restaurant. Service was sub par. Probably will not go back as we have tried this location numerous times and always have a below average experience.

Food poisoning 100% from eating here. This was our dinner after a show, the only time the 3 of us ate together and all 3 of us very sick.
We ate on December 20th 530pm.... got a few happy hour items but the 3 of us only shared rolls not nigiri.... shared Asparagus roll, spicy 2 in 1, tekka, salmon, California, and then some fried roll.

The tekka rolls were not made well but really no idea which fish / ingredients were bad.

Either way getting sick was 100% sure due to this restaurant for their food safety program.
No idea what they missed or how the contamination occured but it did happen.
$100+ and the bonus next day surprises.

Food was great but the service was terrible. It was a busy night apparently according to our waitress, however, 1) We were placed in the very dark corner, where there shouldn't be a table as there was no light above us despite there was an open table, 2) our main food did not come out for 1 hour and 10 minutes -good thing we ordered small appetizers, 3) they brought out a wrong order yet insisted that it was the correct item and told us to check with the server if we made the right order (it was indeed wrong), and 4) they tried to rush us out though they had just brought out the right item which our kids had to wait for. It was so unfortunate that the service was so awful or we would be back for the food.

We only really go here for happy hour rolls but we like this place for a sushi spot. Friendly staff. Clean and trendy vibe. Rolls are quality. Would recommend if you want sushi downtown.

Hiro has gone down hill- sushi was underwhelming and quite flavorless. The rolls were virtually all rice with barely any fish. We ordered the cinco de mayo roll and it was flavorless; spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls were middle of the road. Glad we hit it on a happy hour but understand why it was empty.
