Chrys is the best barista I’ve ever met I’ve been to a lot of independent coffee houses and this was by far the best experience I’ve had. 10/10 will be back ☺️
had the frozen campfire with a double shot, so amazing I came back within hours for two more. highly recommend
I had a super tasty blueberry muffin and well made matcha! It was fun watching them sift and whisk my matcha to make a beautiful iced latte. The sitting space is much bigger than imagined from the outside and very cozy. I like how the music is more muted in certain seating areas to help focus, relaxation, or communication if desired.

The manager Chrys is a complete gem. Customers can rent study rooms in the back for cheap and host parties and showers in the rooms. This basement-style coffeehouse has a large space with many rooms, corners, and nooks for reading, studying, or gathering with friends. The service is friendly but not overly chatty. One customer noted the store is cute with plenty of things to do and wished for earlier opening hours. Overall, Sozo Coffeehouse is a hidden gem worth visiting, especially for its quality drinks and customer service. The Sandwich of the week is also highly recommended.
