The Max Reviews
I love The Max! I actually moved away from Omaha and have never found a bar even closely comparable. I tell people about it all the time.
Went out this Saturday and met the MOST AMAZING bartender. His name is Brandon, and he makes the most amazing fruity cocktails you'll ever have. He was kind, polite, and overall so welcoming. Went to him all night, and never once had a bad time. Love this place, will definitely be returning!!
If you don’t tip certain bartenders every time you buy a drink, they’ll ignore you at the bar or complain about you not tipping.

The Max in Omaha, Nebraska is a vibrant and inclusive LGBTQ+ nightclub and entertainment venue. It offers a fantastic atmosphere, diverse entertainment options, and friendly staff. The venue hosts themed events and parties, making it a must-visit for a lively and inclusive nightlife experience. However, be aware that it's a cash-only place, and drinks can be overpriced and strong. The venue can get crowded during peak times, and parking can be a challenge.
The Max is known for its delicious Thanksgiving meals with all the trimmings, prepared by the talented Chef Bruce and his crew. Customers have praised the heart-warming atmosphere and the amazing hospitality of the bartender, who provided excellent service and communication. The venue also has an awesome vibe, with great lighting and music, and a lively and welcoming crowd. There are two main dance floors, as well as a nice outdoor area for those who want to relax. The mix of energy and chill vibes makes The Max the perfect place for a night out, whether you want to party or just hang out with friends.
Customers have expressed their appreciation for the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with one reviewer stating that they felt accepted despite not being part of the LGBTQ+ community. Another customer enjoyed the great music and lively crowd, although they found the front desk receptionist a bit rude at first. However, a reviewer from Dallas was disappointed with the DJ on the Hip-Hop side, feeling that the music selection was outdated and the dance floor cleared out early due to the poor song choices.
