Been going here for YEARS and have say even with staff changes everyone has been beyond amazing and the ambience is perfect for a date rather solo or with a guest. I have to take a moment to shout out Sammy! He has been there since long before me and when you spend 5 seconds with him you can see why! He brings such joy to everyone around and his energy is the best. He is professional, kind, knowledgeable, patient and the highlight of my Hiro experience every time. Thanks for being you Sammy, thank you management and thanks Hiro for all the vegetarian options and willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions… I’ll be a lifelong patron. -Porscha

Arelli was our server and hopefully I spelled her name correctly? We were chatting a lot, and not too focused on making our dinner selections, but she was professionally persistent and helped us get our order placed a minute or two prior to Happy Hour winding down. Everything was really, really delicious!

The food was delicious. The egg rolls, lettuce wraps and soup were very good. The teriyaki beef was hard to eat because it was more like a broth. I was surprised by the ginger salad dressing, because it tasted more like horseradish. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff was very attentive and friendly, as well as accommodating to my needs.

The bartenders and our server were great. The food was amazing as always. The only issue we ran into was upon arrival. We had reservations at 630, but got there early so we planned to grab a cocktail at the bar as we awaited our friends. The host stand was less than thrilled about that idea when we came in. They suggested being sat early and having our drink at our table. We went and forth with them pressuring us to go to our table before we finally just walked away and went to the bar without continuing the discussion. We love Hiro but a tad confused why it was such a big deal for us to enjoy a drink before being sat.

Food was mediocre to gross. We got bento boxes so had a variety. Sushi was mushy and so cold ibhalf expected to ceunch into an ice crystal. Beef was tough. 50 bucks for 2 adults, so at best we overpaid. Will not repeat.

Only half of our salads and soups were brought out together. The rest of us waited 15 min to get our soup while our server took 2 other tables orders. When our entrees were brought out we only received half of our entrees before the server the. Went back and brought out another tables entrees. Once we finally received our entrees we then had to wait even longer for eggs rolls that the server blamed the kitchen for not making. Was not a great experience at all. Were also only offered drink refills at the end of the meal.

Hiro always does a nice job both in service and food. Been a customer for years and prefer it to Blue, both in atmosphere and service.
Sammy is in incredible manager and always had time to stop by to say hello! The food and service are always consistently great!
