Great breakfast spot with great healthy and familiar dishes. Loved the esthetics, felt very cozy.
Wonderful breakfast. Highlight for me was the gluten free pancakes. The picture only shows one because I ate the other two. Light and not grainy at all. I’ve been gluten free for twenty years. These are the best I’ve ever had- kind of like crepes. The yellow is their lemon sauce. Lovely. They are doing construction in the city but you can still access the restaurant easily. Super cute and very clean. Highly recommend.
This place was awesome. We came for lunch and the service was incredible. All the food delicious. We had the turkey sandwich and the Cuban and had the lemon French toast as dessert. Wow, all amazing.

HomeGrown Omaha - Blackstone is a breakfast and lunch spot in Omaha. The restaurant is clean and bright with kind, attentive staff. The coffee cake with caramel sauce, the blueberry pop tart, the vegetarian omelet, the cheesy grits, the rosemary potatoes, and the pistachio cherry almond french toast are highlights. The gluten free pancakes are light and not grainy at all, kind of like crepes, served with lemon sauce. The classic Benedict, the turkey sandwich, the Cuban, and the lemon French toast are also excellent. The omelette, rosemary potatoes, and avocado toast are fresh and from scratch. Portions are generous. The seasonal menus are amazing and the breads are next level. Service is incredible, even on a busy Sunday morning. Construction on Farnam makes traffic and parking interesting, but the restaurant is still easy to access. Conversation can be challenging in this location. This is the breakfast spot in Omaha.
