My girlfriend and I stopped coming for about a year due to the horrible customer service. But that all changed today!! Velma is by far THE BEST server they have ever had. She was attentive, kind, quick, and so helpful. She made this the best date night, by far! Even when she had a crowd she made sure we were taken care of and made sure to always check up on us. We will definitely be coming back!

I have enjoyed Ika in the past. On Monday, December 29th, I decided to take some family to Ika for a holiday outing. It was about about 2:45 on Monday afternoon. Six of us walked in and were told they were “reservations only” that day. We were told we could try again at 5 or 5:30. There was not another customer in the restaurant. While we were figuring out what to do, a party of 4 walked in and were immediately seated. I asked them if they had a reservation. They said they did not.
I’m not sure what was going on, but it definitely felt like they just did not want to serve our party. In the future I will go elsewhere.

Food was delicious and just as we ordered. Everything was super. However the waiter, young blonde man with a moustache, was utterly disrespectful and rude from the moment we were seated. When we asked about what we wanted in our ramen and had questions he treated us as if we were imbeciles. We noticed he treated other customers there the same way. Also, noticed that while seating customers and taking orders he was on his phone/taking phone calls. Very unprofessional service from the server.

Google maps took us to the wrong door. It's located just inside the alley. Google took us to main street and to were I think apartments are. Just walk around the block to the alley.
Great food and nice pleasant atmosphere with the old market brick. The wait staff was nice and helpful too.

Pretty good ramen place. Their fried chicken plate is a good start and the ramen is delicious. Service is mostly good, but I inexplicably had to wait to get my seat when there was only one other person eating there at the time. Otherwise, my server was attentive and polite. Not the best ramen place I've been to, but still very tasty.

It was delicious food with warm and cozy atmosphere.
We tried Tonkatsu Ramen, Beef Galbi Ramen and Izakaya Fries. It was delicious!

First time trying this place. Very delicious, good service and large helping.
Recommended dishes: Mary Jane Ramen
The food is absolutely great!
One downside is they serve their food in plastic bowls and with plastic soup spoons.
Hope they will be willing to update to a more traditional dishware like ceramic that is safer to serve hot dishes in.
Other ramen places I've been to serve in ceramics and even use traditional bamboo soup spoons.
Hope they read this and are willing to consider the update to their dishware

Absolutely love this place. Wasn't for sure what I was getting into after seeing the black market signs that point at a dark sketchy alley. Halfway down the alley is one of Omahas best Ramen restaurants that I never knew existed
The best delicious decision was trying the Spicy Miso Ramen.
Location is cool, in a sketch alleyway. Food, atmosphere, and service was great. However, a bottle of Michelob Utra was listed at five dollars a bottle, but yet the new price at checkout was seven dollars per bottle! Ridiculous!

My family was visiting Omaha and we love ramen so we chose this place and honestly the food was very good. I ordered the Mary Jane ramen, and some bao buns - all delicious. The reason I'm lowering the rating is because the service was slow, rude, and just kind of lazy.
We arrived around 4:30 for dinner and were the only people in the place, which I get can be annoying, because maybe you needed a little more prep time before the dinner crowd. We also have a toddler, which as a server can be annoying, they're loud, messy, maybe impatient. Even still, the host and server both looked visibly pissed off and spoke very little (again as if we were an inconvenience). The music in the place was LOUD and like bumping rave music - OK, fine, it's a hip place I get it, but the volume truly was excessive.
The time it took us to get our food wasn't awful, but the time it took to get our order taken after sitting down, was long. And the time it took to get a bill at the end was also excessive. No chance we were getting water refills (thankfully we didn't order anything spicy so that was fine).
The four total employees that we noticed while there were all loitering behind the bar socializing and hitting vape pens, which seemed more important than serving us.
