We went in and waited an hour for subpar Ramen, bad service, and not even our full order. Extremely disappointed, as it was a rainy day and was perfect for ramen.

Everything about the place was very amusing and the customer service was also great the waiter was very sweet. The food was over all good and I will be going there again. All though it’s a tricky find it’s definitely worth the trouble of finding it.

Always great food, the brussels sprouts are the best! Our server was nice and played fun music. Enjoyed my drink and the yasai gyoza! The spicy noods are good too. Plenty of clearly marked vegetarian options.

Food's good and I think the artwork is cool (especially the manga wall and the big kraken) and the servers are nice

I just can't recommend it. Pork belly was tough. Broth was not that flavorful. I had the tonkatsu which I get at Rizin Ramen all the time and I really don't like leaving bad reviews but this place just is not even in the same level as Rizin. Sorry.

The food here was subpar. It was edible but not good especially for the price that you paid. I had a party of four adults and one toddler and they counted that toddler as our fifth member and required us to pay a 20% tip regardless even though there was one server who did not do a fantastic job. The noodles in my dish were still very hard, and I ordered the spicy tuna tots, but they had no tuna in them. We were never offered anything besides water and were charged an additional fee just for eating in the old market. There is also only one option for children, and no changing areas for children in the bathrooms. I definitely would not return to this place.

We had an “ok” experience. We spent about 10 minutes trying to find the location, turns out it’s down an alley way. Our server was not very attentive. We were sat, then 5 minutes later, a table sat next to us. Their drinks and apps were out before our server brought us water. Our glasses were absolutely filthy, and we had to wipe them off ourselves. Our appetizer took 32 minutes to come out, and they weren’t very busy. We received our ramen just 2 bites into our app. When it was time for us to leave, we had to stand up to get our servers attention. The food was pretty good, but the service was sub par

Ika San Ramen in downtown Omaha is a hidden gem that serves up delicious and authentic ramen. The restaurant has a cool, modern vibe with graffiti murals and upbeat music, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. The menu features a variety of ramen options, from classic tonkotsu to spicy miso and vegetarian broths. I tried the Tonkotsu Black, which was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the ajitama egg was perfectly seasoned. In addition to ramen, Ika San also offers a selection of small plates and izakaya dishes. I highly recommend trying the gyoza, which are pan-fried to perfection and filled with savory pork and vegetables.Overall, I had a great experience at Ika San Ramen and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic ramen experience in Omaha.

I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, but it was difficult to eat because it had too much pickled ginger for my taste and really overpowered all the ramen. I usually get a little more chashu when I get tonkotsu, but it was tender and good. The service was excellent and our waiter kept making sure we were taken care of.

My sister told me about this place and I’m glad we went. The only thing that i would complain about is that it’s hidden in an alley and the kimchi was a little on the salty side. My kids and I absolutely enjoyed the food outside of that and the wall art was AMAZING. Outside of that, our server was very kind, cordial and professional. She answered all our questions and was patient with us. My son basically ate two full bowls of ramen and I enjoyed my udon noodles. Would defintely recommend.

Kimchi In fact not a tempura at all as there was no tempura coating. It is simply kimchi fried in oil. The frying was very uneven. Some pieces crispy, others wet and soggy. The dish was very salty and very greasy.Tonkotsu The broth was bland. The chashu was dry and chewy. Too much red ginger it covers up other taste.Fuego The chicken was dry. There was no avocado. The broth was extremely spicy, can only taste the spiciness. Not sure why the noodle is a different kind from that in the tonkotsu ramen. The flavor reminds me very much of a certain Korean spicy chicken instant noodle brand.I also did not appreciate the suggested tipping amount which started at 20% then 25% and 30%.Overall I was disappointed and i hope they can improve in the future.
