Jams Old Market Reviews
We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! Delicious food and friendly service! Good happy hour specials. The poblano slaw was the perfect complement to the skyscraper veggie sandwich. Everything had excellent flavor. Would visit again.
Service was terrible ~ waited over 20 minutes for someone to fill our water glasses & take our drink orders ~ food was only ok ~ cheese not completely melted on the baked scampi ~ looked nothing like the picture ~ we were there for over an hour & 15 minutes for 2 appetizers & 2 drinks ~ my husband never did receive his second drink. I love the location on Dodge but will NOT be back to this one. Also, no paper towels in the Ladies room….

Jams Old Market offers a varied menu, featuring a tasty Mediterranean salad and standout dishes like the Parmesan Chicken sandwich, Turkey sourdough, and short rib grilled cheese. Guests have enjoyed the food quality, which is praised for being homemade and flavorful. The restaurant has a nice vibe, with a clean and well-decorated interior, as well as attractive outdoor seating. Visitors have appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. The drinks are also noted as well done. There are many choices on the menu, making it hard to decide what to order. While the service is generally good and food comes out fairly quickly, some guests have mentioned delays in getting checks after requesting them. Although the salads are delicious, the new deeper bowls have made them difficult to eat. Some diners have reported issues with limited parking and a lack of wheelchair accessibility. On occasion, guests have experienced distractions from a panhandler on the patio. Overall, Jams Old Market provides a generally positive dining experience, though some guests have found seating to be a bit cramped.
