“I had the pleasure of stopping by Teriyaki Express tonight, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was spotless, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
As for the food—wow! I’ve been on the lookout for a place that serves amazing fried rice, and this place is IT! Our food was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. We also tried their sushi, which was equally outstanding—fresh, delicious, and expertly made.
I’m so thrilled they opened a new location closer to my house! I will absolutely be back for more. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!“

“We had an excellent experience at Yoshitomo! Both the classic nigiri and the more fusion inspired dishes are delicious. Our server, Zack, was so friendly and helped us with some fantastic sake recommendations! We literally ate until we were full and then some. Didn’t get enough pictures because the food was too busy getting eaten. Completely satisfied. Would definitely recommend going!“

“The service was attentive and friendly, which was greatly appreciated! Overall, the food is affordable and flavorful. Only gripe would be I wish the rice was a little stickier. The Shishito Peppers easily my favorite! Will be back sooner than later!“

“Cute place with plenty of seating. We were able to make a reservation online and get right in with two adults and a high chair. The waitress we had was very friendly and did a great job answering any questions and explaining the menu. We had the crab rangoons, everything smoked salmon, and 3 sushi rolls…all were delicious. We both really enjoyed our drinks as well. I would return!“

“Food was very good as usual but our waitress seemed in a hurry. Didn't listen and thus forgot items. Also our boat was basically just dropped at table with no explanations or descriptions. Had to constantly flag her down for forgotten items Never checked back either. She made us show ID for drinks. We're in our late 60's and 70's then couldn't remember so she asked again 🤦♀️“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the remarkable freshness of the fish and the unique experience of watching the chefs skillfully craft each piece of sushi. Without question, it is the finest and most exquisite sushi offering one can find in Omaha. However, while the quality of the food was outstanding, I am unsure if this was the best omakase experience I’ve ever had.
Omakase is meant to be a holistic experience, not just about the sushi itself but the ambiance and the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in this regard. The setting, though intimate, was disrupted by two couples whose loud, rowdy conversations overtook the compact space. Despite asking the server if anything could be done, the response was, “we will try,” which turned out no meaningful action was taken. This left the environment feeling like a chaotic bar and far from the serene, harmonious experiences I’ve had in Japan, where sushi can be savored in a tranquil setting.
Additionally, a 22% gratuity was added automatically, which didn’t sit well with us given the overall experience.
In conclusion, while the fish was undeniably fresh and the sushi among the best you can find in Omaha—perhaps the only truly authentic omakase experience in Nebraska—the lack of a more curated and serene atmosphere made it difficult for me to be fully satisfied.“
