“Teriyaki Express is always a great choice for a quick, delicious meal! My family stops by often, and we’ve never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just like the staff, who are always friendly and attentive. The service is impressively fast, and they even bring your food right to the table. The dishes are served fresh and hot, with steam rising from the plate—honestly, the photo doesn’t do it justice! My son absolutely loves the sushi here, and it’s always a hit with the whole family. Highly recommend it for anyone craving tasty, authentic teriyaki and sushi!“

“Meticulously crafted for the perfect experience. Every time I come to Yoshitomo I am blown away by incredible food, excellent service, and a setting that takes you far away from the humdrum of Omaha. If you get the chance, sit at the bar to watch the most beautiful of the dishes be prepared, and don’t miss the phenomenal KV kama or the Royale roll.“

“Cute place with plenty of seating. We were able to make a reservation online and get right in with two adults and a high chair. The waitress we had was very friendly and did a great job answering any questions and explaining the menu. We had the crab rangoons, everything smoked salmon, and 3 sushi rolls…all were delicious. We both really enjoyed our drinks as well. I would return!“

“We had a reservation at 6:45 and got seated right away. The food we order was great. Our waiter seemed to be the only one working 2 sections and she was doing the best she could. Overall great food and nice restaurant and i understand under staffing but she shouldn't have been the only server.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the remarkable freshness of the fish and the unique experience of watching the chefs skillfully craft each piece of sushi. Without question, it is the finest and most exquisite sushi offering one can find in Omaha. However, while the quality of the food was outstanding, I am unsure if this was the best omakase experience I’ve ever had.
Omakase is meant to be a holistic experience, not just about the sushi itself but the ambiance and the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in this regard. The setting, though intimate, was disrupted by two couples whose loud, rowdy conversations overtook the compact space. Despite asking the server if anything could be done, the response was, “we will try,” which turned out no meaningful action was taken. This left the environment feeling like a chaotic bar and far from the serene, harmonious experiences I’ve had in Japan, where sushi can be savored in a tranquil setting.
Additionally, a 22% gratuity was added automatically, which didn’t sit well with us given the overall experience.
In conclusion, while the fish was undeniably fresh and the sushi among the best you can find in Omaha—perhaps the only truly authentic omakase experience in Nebraska—the lack of a more curated and serene atmosphere made it difficult for me to be fully satisfied.“
