My wife and I checked out Koji last week for a special occasion, and we had a fantastic time! This cozy izakaya-style restaurant serves up delicious sushi, yakitori, and Japanese small plates that really hit the spot.We loved the seaweed salad and the chasu buns with pork belly. Picture this…it’s a Sunday afternoon, the sun is out, and you want to enjoy an experience with your family. Koji is it! From walking in the door to engaging with the staff and then the food…it’s a 10/10. Kaylynn is a top tier server - attentive, kind, polite, thorough. The kitchen staff knows what they’re doing and it was a pleasure to see them work their magic delicately with so many ingredients. The negima and buta were delicious! The chasu buns had too much sauce that overwhelmed the whole dish and the Omaha Crunch Roll was fine.I was surprised at how many items were unavailable since it required a reservation to get in. The service is unenthusiastic but not bad. Overall could be better but nothing was glaringly bad.
