Great tasty, krispy krunchy chicken! I went there during the afternoon and purchased an 8 piece chicken to-go order. Chicken was fresh out of the deep fryer. This is not a sit-down restaurant. This is similar to Popeyes chicken but has its unique taste.

This is a gas station dudes, not a restuarant! But the chicken tenders are top notch!

Had this for the 1st time today after learning about it recently and must say...it was absolutely delicious. I called up about 12:30 and asked for a fresh Family Chicken and Tenders Pack to be ready at 1:30pm and asked if could have mashed potatoes/gravy and Jambalya instead of fries and they were so accommodating and polite. We ate it tonight for supper and it was still yummy krispy goodness. Just microwaved the potatoes and Jambalya to heat them up and ate the chicken as is. Still so very very juicy, tender and crispy. Wayyy too much food but that's a good thing as we will have the tenders tomorrow night with the leftover honey biscuits (also amazing). Will definitely be ordering here from now on versus any KFC or Popeyes. Way more food for the price and the taste and quality were so much better. (12pc chicken, 9 tenders, lg potatoes and gravy and Jambalya, and 6 honey biscuits all for $33...that's enough to feed us for 2-3 days!!!) So so good and the 2 gentlemen that helped me at the store on 110th and Harrison were extremely polite and friendly as well. Kudos to them!!!

The location is inside the gas station. They are friendly and busy. I learned after my first order, it's best to call in advance before going to get food. The chicken can be made to order. The corn dogs are crispy with a little sweetness and a good size for the price. I enjoy the chicken tenders the most. Buffalo sauce or bbq sauce are good. It's fast food chicken fried to perfection. I go here first for my fried chicken cravings.

This is a fresh getaway from the norm (KFC, Popeyes, Bakers, etc). The flavor is great, fresh, and very reasonably priced vs KFC & Popeyes. The biscuits are good too. You get a family meal and not spend over $20

I had a fried chicken craving and that led me straight to this gas station chicken stand. The menu here is very familiar... in fact it is similar to one that you might find at Popeyes or KFC with a slightly more Cajun twist like Popeyes. The biscuits here are more of a honey biscuit flavor but the chicken was quite spectacular although a little salty for my taste. It's pretty much as good as you can get, and I will compare to a fresh bucket of KFC or Popeyes right out of the fryer. Our order was made to order so we did wait about 15 minutes but it was worth it. Highly recommend for fast food style chicken (from a gas station!)

I like this place. Good chicken at a good price. I only wish they had an option with fewer than 8 pieces. A nice alternative to Popeye's and KFC.

The food was gas station quality food. Something quick for on the go eating. 1.Chicken has flavor and crunchy but also dry from sitting under the heat lamp2.Mac and Cheese was noodles with yellow sauce. However the jambalaya was homemade quality. 3.Honey Biscuits super hard.

AMAZING chicken when it's hot and fresh!! I'm rating it a four star because tonight we ordered 10 crispy wings (AMAZING) and things and breasts. As I mentioned, the wings were DELICIOUS, as always. The chicken, on the other hand, smelled and tasted as though it was sitting in the heater for quite some time. That was the only time I've been disappointed in their chicken. However, if you order it fresh--you will NOT be disappointed. The owners are super friendly as well!

Five Krispy Krunchy Stars!!!! I've never seen this place, but happened upon it when exploring DoorDash. As it turned out that time, I had inadvertently put in my work address when I was at home. When I changed it to my home address, Krispy Krunchy Chicken was no longer available in my area. I was very disappointed. That was maybe six months ago, and I've never forgotten about Krispy Krunchy chicken. It just never worked out to be able to get it delivered to work, because I work third shift. Fast forward to now, and we just moved across town. I checked DoorDash while we were starving and sitting among 8000 still-packed moving boxes, and there was Krispy Krunchy chicken! I honestly didn't realize it was Cajun style until after I ordered it, but I'm glad, because I don't really do spicy food very well. As I noticed after I ordered that it was Cajun, I thought it's still fried chicken, so I'm in! Well guess who likes Cajun food? (If you don't like spicy food, don't worry, it isn't really spicy. It puts a nice tingle on your tongue, but it's not burning your mouth or your throat, so even if you don't normally eat spicy food but you love fried chicken, this is definitely the place for you!)It arrived in a box and they put foil over it to keep it hot, and even with being packaged up and delivered, it was crispy and crunchy, just as advertised. And it was delicious! The biscuits were dropped biscuits, each one unique, and looking like they came out of grandma's kitchen. Looking at this chicken and these biscuits, I knew there had to be a 70-year-old black woman from Louisiana or Mississippi in the kitchen that everyone calls Miss Pearl, or maybe Miss Irene, and she calls everybody honey, sugar, sweetie, or baby. She's that woman that everybody wishes was their grandmother, and she's been cooking since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. Now is that accurate? I have no idea. There could be two guys working in the kitchen, Bruce and Jake, for all I know. But looking at this chicken and these biscuits felt like somebody had made them in their kitchen -- somebody who loves to cook for other people -- and they tasted like they were made with love. The sides (we got mashed potatoes with gravy and also Mac and cheese) were pedestrian. They did not feel or taste like they had been made in house. But that didn't take away from this chicken and biscuit experience. Next time I'll just get chicken and biscuits. There was nothing wrong with the mashed potatoes or the mac & cheese, it just almost felt like they were added on to the menu out of some sort of obligation because people would expect those side dishes. Please, if you live in the area, get yourself some Krispy Krunchy fried chicken. And if you happen to stop by, give Miss Pearl a big hug from me!

Today was the second time I've tried this chicken at the same location. First time all they had was wings which cost me 20$ for 12 wings and wedges that had been under heat lamp for a long time, decided to give them another try since they just opened at this location on n16th. 7/17/20 I ordered 8 piece dark that was under the heat lamp way to long and was to salty to eat very small thighs and tiny legs a damn shame after hearing so many good things about this company I won't be going back again.

Went two days in a row, they were closed. Third times the charm right, wrong. I asked specifically 2 drums and a wing, get outside and it’s a breast, wing, and drum. Went to exchange it, and the lady says well the only way we can do that is for an extra charge. That wasn’t the problem, she should have said that when I asked for those items specifically. So as she’s exchanging the chicken out, she literally takes the breast out of the package I took outside, and placed it back in with the other breast to give to another customer. I guess I missed that part in servsafe. Will not be back.

I first heard about Krispy Krunchy Chicken last week and found out there was one just down the street, but found out it was closed on Sunday's so the first chance I had was to return today. I found out there are three in the Metro, one in Gretna, this one on 110th and Harrison and another in CB.Everything is in Cajun style. Chicken Tenders is their best seller and if you get an order of 4 it comes with a biscuit. They have sides of Red Beans and rice and Jumbalaya in small or large sizes. Who knows how long it has been on the warmers, but the tenders were still crispy and crunchy, maybe a little over breaded but that is where the seasoning is. The Jumbalaya had decent andouille and had a kick to it.If your hungry for Cajun food this was not bad for $8.50. I will be back just to try their Red Beans and Rice, being so close.
