Two bites into the blueberry cornbread at Over Easy Queen Creek, I realized there was visible mold inside. The blueberry sauce made it hard to notice at first, but once I saw it, I was done. I have a mold allergy and ended up getting sick—nausea and vomiting not long after. What really bothered me is that no one came over to apologize or acknowledge what happened. I was just told, “We’ll take it off the bill.” I left immediately, feeling upset and honestly unsafe. This isn’t just about a bad meal—it’s about food safety and how you treat people when something goes wrong. I reached out privately as well, but felt this needed to be shared publicly.
We wanted to try something new for breakfast; Over Easy new to the area; went in about 715 am not very busy which was nice; were seated right away great looking place. Leidy was our server and she was great; refills without asking kept us up to date on our food which took awhile; since we saw 2 or 3 tables get their food before us. Anyway great atmosphere; with the exception it was freezing cold where we were seated; a/c blowing right down on us. Food just came; looks great; I ordered CFS Scrambled hash-browns; wife ordered Bacon OM hash browns; English muffin; looked better than it was; only 2 small strips of bacon; English muffin not even toasted; my meal wasn’t good at all; country gravy was cold; no real flavor had to ask for more gravy and it came out cold too; anyway finally hot gravy but the temp of the room did not help the food; cold fast; portion looked good just not great cold. Anyway great service; we were on our way; we did not say anything. Overall not the best experience with the food or temp of the room; nothing spectacular at all. Anyway wanted to share. Never had a manager come by the table since food was cold.
After waiting 45 mins for a table at the Chandler Arizona location 12/14/24. The only vegan option they have they were out of vegan eggs. I asked if they were able to reduce the price. Waitress stated she needed to ask her manager. After speaking to the manager she came back and said they would not be able to do that. They are out of the main item and will not reduce the price. Poor customer service!
Came by, there was a sign on the door that said permanently closed. Wish google would update or remove them from the listing rather than say it's open!

Waited past our time to seat. Was told 10 mins then had to wait 30 when there was tables open. Server didn’t even introduce herself at all and waited for 40 mins for food. For breakfast. How long does it take to cook an egg? Out of almost everything and never got offered a refill for coffee
Only reason I’m giving the extra star is because the chicken sandwich wasn’t terrible. Now what made this such a poor experience was waiting 35 minutes for just a chicken sandwich and over salted bottom of the bag fries. Plus, after waiting that long in the drive thru, I had to go in and wait another 15 minutes for more fries since they only gave me like 10 originally. Poor service and meh food, eat at your own risk!
Excellent
I love this place and I am very sad to hear that it will soon be closing soon as it is my favorite breakfast place this side of town. If you’ve been wanting to try this place I strongly suggest that you do it now and stop waiting before it’s too late too experience it. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch chicken and waffles is absolutely incredible if you like sweet and savory. If your more of a classic breakfast person they have got you covered. The menu has something for just about everyone’s taste and if you can’t decide, the staff is great with recommendations. Like I said before, I’m really gonna miss this place.
Sad it's closing
Great Food! Sad to see you go.

Great service and food. They need a bigger place for sure
Came here for the first time. Excellent service and delicious food. I had a weekend special of chicken and waffles and it was very good, we also tried the steak Benedict which was a wow breakfast! Our coffee cups were never empty and our server was fantastic! Will come back over and over!
Great food!
Over Easy is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska! We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and got a few different things. Everything tasted wonderful, from the food to the drinks! I got the chicken and waffles, and they were some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time! I am craving them so much and I hope I’m back in the area again soon so I can have them again. I loved the combination of waffle, perfectly-seasoned chicken, fruits and the spicy honey sriracha. Every bite was so flavorful! This is an awesome place that should be your next breakfast visit. I know I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Omaha!
We spent $30 for two, we got a cup of coffee and two chicken and Japanese waffles, which were ready good! It’s a little pricey but the atmosphere was nice and it was quiet (We were there on Friday morning) Service was good, and they source from some local farms. We might have to come back here to try some other dishes, their menu was full of different ones we wanted to try.
