Only reason I’m giving the extra star is because the chicken sandwich wasn’t terrible. Now what made this such a poor experience was waiting 35 minutes for just a chicken sandwich and over salted bottom of the bag fries. Plus, after waiting that long in the drive thru, I had to go in and wait another 15 minutes for more fries since they only gave me like 10 originally. Poor service and meh food, eat at your own risk!

I love this place and I am very sad to hear that it will soon be closing soon as it is my favorite breakfast place this side of town. If you’ve been wanting to try this place I strongly suggest that you do it now and stop waiting before it’s too late too experience it. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch chicken and waffles is absolutely incredible if you like sweet and savory. If your more of a classic breakfast person they have got you covered. The menu has something for just about everyone’s taste and if you can’t decide, the staff is great with recommendations. Like I said before, I’m really gonna miss this place.

Over Easy is a wonderful restaurant on the outskirts of Omaha, Nebraska! We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and got a few different things. Everything tasted wonderful, from the food to the drinks! I got the chicken and waffles, and they were some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a long time! I am craving them so much and I hope I’m back in the area again soon so I can have them again. I loved the combination of waffle, perfectly-seasoned chicken, fruits and the spicy honey sriracha. Every bite was so flavorful! This is an awesome place that should be your next breakfast visit. I know I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Omaha!

We spent $30 for two, we got a cup of coffee and two chicken and Japanese waffles, which were ready good! It’s a little pricey but the atmosphere was nice and it was quiet (We were there on Friday morning) Service was good, and they source from some local farms. We might have to come back here to try some other dishes, their menu was full of different ones we wanted to try.

Went for their Harry Potter themed breakfast. Food was excellent, drinks were better, service and atmosphere was best. Will definitely be returning.

Enter over easy and the server said seat yourself. There were 4 empty tables. We sat down and a server brought us menus and said your server will be right with you. Our server brought us two waters and asked if we’d like coffee. We declined and that was the last time she came to our table. About 10-15 minutes goes by and I asked another server a question about the menu. She answered politely. Our server was talking with customers at the bar and in and out of the kitchen. We had hoped that talking to the other server would have prompted someone to take our order. We had been there before and had great service. Unfortunately, there are too many other options with outstanding service. Needless to say we left and won’t be back.

This food was so good!! The only thing better than the food was the service. Being shorthanded the staff still smiled, were personable, gave info on the food, helped with questions, and when it slowed slightly they swung by to talk a bit more. I'm gluten free and there isn't much that is GF but what is there is AMAZING!! We will be back.

Vegetarian options: There were at least a few vegetarian options on the menu. I was even considering some & I eat meat, but they sounded delicious.

Kid-friendliness: It was October, so it was all Harry Potter decor and so much fun! This is why we went and there were so many kids there dressed up in HP gear.

Parking: Great available parking. No issues.

Dietary restrictions: I'm GF and even though there aren't a ton of options, the food was soooo good. I'll absolutely be back.

Bathrooms were comparable to what I’d expect to find in a truck stop with an all you can eat Indian food buffet. Waitress couldn’t find a clean cup after I requested one without remnants of the last diners lipstick on it. This is where patient zero of the next pandemic will originate from.

We LOVE Over Easy. When we first moved to Omaha, it was one of the first places we tried. The food is always consistent and I always have a hard time choosing - I want it all! On weekends it is pretty busy, but trust me, the wait is always worth it for us. I've also never had a bad experience with ANYONE on their staff. The employees are always so friendly no matter how busy or short staffed they might be. Its always a fun and yummy experience!

Not the best experience. The place was decorated nicely but the food was not worth it. My french toast was burned and had set in the window for a while due to the melted whipped cream, the taquitos were very bland and definitely needed that very spicy salsa. The pumpkin juice I received was a poor impersonator of what was advertised. My butter beer was somehow different than the table next to me but tasty, as tasty as a can of soda could be. The service lacked but she did mention she was just arriving to work. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

They do a Harry Potter theme for October and my family was super excited to visit. The kids put on their cloaks and we drove 40 minutes to get there on a Friday morning. Unfortunately, it was not the experience we hoped. Even though there were open tables when we arrived, we waited 25 minutes to be even acknowledged by a server. There were two servers and a room full of unhappy people. I think the kitchen staff hadn't arrived yet because no one had food and they looked like they had been waiting a long time. People who had already been seated eventually left because of the wait. We were eventually seated and they had none of our first choices of food. French Toast? No. Pumpkin Cinnamon rolls? No. Biscuits with vegetarian gravy? No. The menu had lots of vegetarian options, but almost none were available when we went. I ordered avocado toast with scrambled eggs and the eggs were very cold. It was a huge waste of time and money. By the time we left there were at least 4 more staff members so people were being served more quickly. It's a shame because it had the potential to be a really nice experience, but the understaffing and lack of vegetarian choices just ruined it for us.

This place is incredible. A great community establishment that deserves 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Nick and team for the experience.

Not my first time at Over Easy and it won't be my last. Went on a Friday morning at 10am, and it was not too crowded.Of course we had to order the homemade pop tarts. Split a wild Berry and a strawberry one. They were, as always, fantastic! I ordered the breakfast sandwich which is LOADED. Buttery toasted sourdough, omlete style egg, bacon, jalapeño jam (a touch sweet), hashbrows and a cream cheese with some shredded cheese thrown in. If you don't like cheese or are lactose intolerant, the sandwich doesn't need it to still be good.Food and service were fantastic. Never been disappointed here!

Great unique breakfast nook! Fantastic coffee, food choices change on special occasions! They are very accommodating for gluten-free options! Staff is nice, hosts need to be better at estimating seat times(lost customers by saying extreme wait time)highly recommend to make this your new place to try and repeat every occasion!

Ordered the chicken and waffles, the honey glaze was amazing! The waffles were the best consistency of crispy and fluffy. The chicken was tender! Overall great meal to start my day!
