I can’t get over how great our server was. The red beard guy. And this is the best food I’ve ever had in my life. Wow. Speechless. Coming back next week.

Quickly becoming our go-to dinner fave. Food is fantastic and service is always lovely and welcoming. The deconstructed bao buns and bibimbap are noteworthy standouts, but every dish so far has been great. Love having this authentic taste of the PNW in my Omaha neighborhood.

It’s not often I write bad reviews but this one is definitely necessary after many years of having worked in a restaurant in many different positions personally….

We came for dinner on a Friday night and as expected it was busy but we were surprisingly the only people on the waitlist. We were shoved off into a corner by the hostess with no great place to wait with our family with small children. After about 15 minutes, a family left and we were offered a table behind us that would be ready “soon.” After cleaning it off we were then told we still couldn’t sit at this table for ten more mins while our server was getting caught up. After fifteen more minutes we finally were sat at said table, and another 8-10 for our server to arrive.

Customer service wise- this experience was total crap. The hostess could have sat us at the table and just told us it would be a bit which would have changed everything. Instead we had to stand with two young kids in the way of all restaurant traffic for absolutely no reason. As our first experience to this restaurant we are unimpressed. We are new to Omaha and love trying new places and having places to recommend to travelers of my husbands company- this one won’t make that list.

Picture of our table attached that was cleaned and ready after a few mins but unable to be sat at for another 15.

Outstanding place!! Service is excellent with good recommendations, food is always excellent and consistent. Wine selction is well repped. We take our two girls and their kid's bento boxes are perfect. I recommend the GOAT and brussels apps, the syrah cab blend, and any taco dish!

Please try the new MahiMahi. It is delicious with the mango sauce. And just the right spicy.

I’ve been coming here a while always getting the steak and frites. Come here today and they no longer have it. Ask for a comment card and told they didn’t have one. So I asked for a manager to give my feedback to… she never came out. Which is whatever. She had been rude in the past so I kind of expected it. My husband loves the crying tiger. I got their ginger whatever salmon as a stand in for the steak and frites. It wasn’t pleasant. Very muted flavor. Probably won’t be back.

I got my food to go, so my experience may be different than others. I got the teriyaki bowl and the wailea stew and the clam chowder. THE ONLY PROBLEM was that when I got home my bag of food collapsed and my meals fell out of the bag when I got home, because the wailea stew had leaked through its container.

The other dishes were salvageable but the stew was not. I DID eat two pieces of shrimp from off the ground.

But the food was good. Could use a little more flavor but it was good overall. We just need to put the Waimea stew in a new container next time.

Normally we like this restaurant. This night it was not good. We went for the shrimp and sea bass. They no longer had it. We wanted the ribs, but they were out and said the bone-in option was just as good. NOT! We were very disappointed since this has always been one of our favorites. Prob won't be back.

We came for Omaha Restaurant Week and got the crying crackers, island salad, kalbi ribs, volcano mahi, strawberry lemon sorbet, and pineapple macadamia bread pudding. The food was all delicious and different, with good blends of textures and flavors. We tried a lot of combinations we've never had before, and they all worked quite well. Our server was Alysia, and she did a good job recommending items and being available when needed. She didn't rush us but kept the courses coming at a good pace. We didn't feel hurried, and the atmosphere let us enjoy a nice date night together. I loved the big windows to see the sunset and outdoors, and it was quiet enough we could hear each other easily. This was our first day coming, and we feel we can add this restaurant to our list of good date night places. They have happy hour specials all day on Sundays as well, which is good to keep in mind for the future. It was a bit more expensive than we would usually spend, but for six total intriguing and delightful dishes and a lovely evening out, I count it well spent.
