One of the most unassuming and hidden gems of Omaha. Comes as no surprise, a sister company of Twisted cork which is an Omaha staple. Snuck in tonight and had a fantastic meal from start to finish, Ryan our server was fantastic. Convinced me to start with their Keg Creek PEH sour beer and was wonderful with notes of bourbon (not pictured). Husband had the "Amigos, Caliente" margarita, this is a MUST have! They soak the tequila in fresh cut jalapenos for days and the margarita definitely benefits from this. It a long lasting spicy note! Apps were fantastic: G.O.A.T. and the Bao Buns were both superb. The goat cheese was deliciously paired with a strawberry spread. The Bao buns used super flavorful chicken thighs that provided great juicyness with the slaw and dressing. Husband's seabass and scallops were cooked to perfection (almost rare!) and my mahi mahi tacos were so spicy and flavorful. This place is such a Gem, I can't wait to return

Menu Looked good and was very creative but all of the food is very sweet and not as exactly as described. If you are a real foodie, this might not be your place. With that being said, my expectations were pretty high. Many tables around me seem to be enjoying their food just fine

It was recommended the fries appetizer and it was fine. I think I should have picked something different. The main entree was delicious. Overall, I would eat there again.

Katie was wonderful, our first time here & Katie was very helpful, she was knowledgeable about the menu & answered all our questions! The clam chowder was my favorite, my husband had a steak with asparagus & some apple potatoes? He loved it all. I had a rice bowl with beef & veggies, the beef was a little tough otherwise very tasty. Give this place a try, easy to find with plenty of parking! Ask for Katie!

Service was really slow. Waitress recommended the Sea Bass and the Halibut. The Sea Bass was amazing! The Halibut was way overcooked and dry. Prices seemed high, especially for tiny portion sizes. They did end up removing the Halibut from our bill after asking about it twice. Dinner with a cheaper bottle of wine was around $200. The menu seemed trendy, but had a variety of options. I likely will not go back.

Diner

I was having dinner and noticed a red wash bucket behind the guest who was with me. Throughout the meal servers would repeatedly come to the bucket and dip soiled wash clothes in and walk to clean tables. I thought this was an odd placement considering it was only three feet from the table. Other diners were also looking incredulous that had a similar location. I asked for the manager and politely requested the bucket be moved. The manager who arrived (Katie O) also happened to be our server. When I explained how unsanitary it was she had agreed with me but said it needs to be within so many feet of an area. I mentioned I had never seen a red clean up bucket situated in a main dining room near guests in a restaurant before and that she must have misinterpreted the requirements. She assured me there was no other way. Upon getting my food wrapped up for the evening I requested a container for my soup. She brought me a box. When I asked about a different container she mentioned that the box works fine and a soup container may not fit it all. Again, this manager has a very difficult time with appropriate decision making. It's a shame because the menu and food were good so the owners have a great opportunity but the execution fails on many levels.

Food was good and service was excellent. They were able to take a last minute reservation on Friday night. Had Mahi Mahi and Peking duck. Very filling and flavorful. Will definitely be back.

Happy #ThankYouThursday to Pacific Eating House!I have a lot of great things to say about this place - but honestly I think the pictures do a pretty great job themselves. The North Shore Fries are not only beautiful, and picturesque - but delicious as well. Any time I return, these will 100% be ordered, and consumed. Our visit to PEH was pleasant and flavorful. We sat at the bar, as they were pretty busy the night we visited - and despite the drinks that were flying off the shelves we were still treated well and our service was very prompt. They even offered to make me a dish what was no longer offered on the menu - that I saw posted in one of their reviews and was attracted to.The menu is diverse and offers both seafood, and land-based animal food options as well as a healthy array of gluten-free and vegan foods!Thank you guys for providing amazing service, and delicious foods. I can't want to return!
