Rusty Taco Reviews
Very misleading pictures on Facebook menu these are 2 bite tacos very small we ordered 3 items 1 baha shrimp taco (corn tortilla NO cilantro) 1 brisket taco (corn tortilla No Cilantro) first two items came with Flour tortillas and covered in Cilantro! 3rd item was Birria Dip Taco Plate was more like Birria Drip very oily and flavorless, ( oily not red sauce) and yes I know what a Street Taco is. The meat on our food was completely charred and rock hard and crunchy. Our nachos had almost no meat or cheese on them, and the only topping aside from that was tomatoes. The service was terrible - the cooks laying all over each other hugging each other and holding each other instead of cooking. Another couple complained about their nachos too and they did nothing. Another lady got a completely wrong order. This was terrible.
all was good for us tonight

Rusty Taco is a casual restaurant in Omaha that serves fresh street tacos made to order. The tacos have great flavors, especially when paired with the phenomenal roja salsa. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for enjoying a margarita. Despite some service issues like long waits due to POS system problems or inexperienced staff, the helpful and friendly counter guy made the ordering process easier. The shrimp tacos were cooked well and stayed hot until taken home. With a diverse menu, there are plenty of other taco options to try, promising a return visit despite some initial hiccups. Many customers also enjoy breakfast tacos at 7 AM, grilled or fried Baja shrimp tacos, and the fried chicken OG taco. The restaurant has a cantina attempt that sometimes feels cold and not very inviting, but the food quality remains high. The queso and fresh guacamole are highly recommended, and the staff has been attentive, especially when fixing order issues. Overall, Rusty Taco continues to be a favorite, offering flavorful food, quick service, and a variety of tasty items like jalapeño sausage, potato egg cheese, green street taco, and birria tacos.
