Salween Thai Restaurant Reviews
Looking for a good restaurant one our stay in Omaha and we gave this place a go. We first tried the egg rolls and as somebody who doesn’t enjoy egg rolls, I really enjoyed these. My dish was pad Thai, “Thai spicy” and it was honestly some of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. I love that they’ll actually make something authentically spicy for people who want it that way. It’s hard to find delicious tasting, flavourful spicy food that isn’t dumb down for the audience....read full review
I have been coming to this location on saddle Creek for many years now. It is one of the most authentic and peaceful places to come to. I love seeing all the complaints because it shows me that they are so busy that sometimes they can’t keep up with the traffic and that’s just what happens when you have a very amazing place that has amazing staff and people who work really hard to provide for you food from their country that is amazing. One of the reasons that my daughter and I go for Thai food at lunch time is that she has limited time for lunch. She is strictly limited to an hour, and Asian food is usually fairly quick. We waited 15 minutes to place our order and nearly 35 minutes for the food to come out. The restaurant was not busy. There were as many staff walking around the restaurant as there were tables seated with customers.
The food was okay, nothing special, and not worth the wait.

Salween Thai Restaurant offers a mix of experiences, with prompt and friendly service during dinner hours. The portion sizes are perfect for individuals. While some customers have noticed a decline in food quality over time, the restaurant still serves delicious dishes like crab rangoon and Pad Thai. The prices are affordable, and the staff is great. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance, making it a good spot for a casual meal.
Some customers have reported inconsistencies with the food quality and service. One reviewer mentioned receiving their appetizers but never seeing the waiter again, leading them to leave after 40 minutes without their main order. Another customer, however, praised the Drunken Chicken Noodles, stating that the spice level is just right for them. Despite these mixed reviews, Salween Thai Restaurant remains a budget-friendly option for those seeking a quick and satisfying Thai meal.
