My waitress was amazing, food was amazing; taste, presentation, and how quickly they made it. Would definitely come back. Knocked 1 star off for service not because of my waitress, but because of the greeting/seating process; staff were standing around/visiting w/ each other, when one did break away to seat me he was impolite and curt with me.
Service was fast, food arrived quickly. I had chicken fried chicken. The chicken and mashed potatoes were very good, gravy was bland. My husband had the fish and chips, he said it was good but also a bit bland. Table next to us had breakfast food that looked great, will definitely try the breakfast.
We went to Shirley's Diner for breakfast for my husband's birthday today. I have to say I had a hard time picking what I was going to order because so many items looked so good! I settled on the Irish omelet and it didn't disappoint. It was packed with corned beef, onions, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. The portion sizes were huge and well worth the price.
