I miss when Jimmy John’s was freaky fast, freaky fresh. Them outsourcing their delivers to Uber Eats is awful. Now instead of getting your fresh sandwich within 30 minutes and your toasted sub being warm, the uber driver takes an hour and a half, dropping off 3 other people before you and your toasted sub gets a nice tour of South Millard before I get a soggy toasted sub at room temperature.
SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW. Until today, I really didn't think JJ could be that slow. I went in to pick up 2 to-go orders, of one sandwich each, and order a sandwich for myself. Normally your sandwich is ready by the time you fill your drink. Today I had to sit and wait for about 20 mins. I ordered a Big John no lettuce, so it is mayo, tomato, roast beef. I was very disappointed with the quantity and thickness of the ingredients on my sandwich. The cheese and cucumbers were sliced so thin that I could see the guacamole through the folded cheese and the tomato through the cucumber. The portions were noticeably smaller and thinner than what I receive from competing sandwich shops.
