If you haven’t been to Smokin Barrel BBQ in Omaha yet, you’re missing out on some of the best barbecue in the city. Everything is cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and smoky in all the right ways. But the real star of my visit was John H. on the carving station. The guy is a master with the knife, slicing brisket like it’s an art form and serving it with a big smile. You can tell he takes pride in every single cut. Really impressed with the BBQ from this location 1st time coming in. Brisket was very tender and pulled pork was very moist. Followed by yummy potato salad. My only semi complaint. Was mentioning finding a good bbq place in omaha? And then assuming it's the owner said let me know when you find one. The food was fantastic!!! Great service with a very friendly staff. We wanted BBQ and found this place on FB. We were going to be in Omaha this last Saturday and decided to stop by. Glad we did. It was SO good.
You owe it to your taste buds to try their food. I had the spare ribs and the wife had brisket and we walked out so full. Thanks again Smokin Barrel for the great experience!
