We stayed in the hotel and ate dinner one of the evenings here. We ended up having friends join us so we chose to eat in the lounge area. The drinks were amazing, we ate the delmonico, it was 10/10. Every bite was delicious. We had the salads, a Caesar salad and a wedge. Everything was great. Our server was extremely annoyed we decided to stay and eat in the lounge, even though the restaurant reassured us it was fine. Despite her attitude we LOVED the food.
We had a fabulous experience at The Committee Chophouse. Our server was one of the best servers we’ve had anywhere ever. She was knowledgeable, friendly, knew when to come to the table and when not to disturb the conversation, funny, and kind. The food was perfect from the oysters to the chateaubriand to all the delicious sauces (our faves were the peppercorn, the red chimichurri, and the creamy horseradish. This place is impressive, and aesthetically stunning.
Firstly, there is a noticeable ease in communication between the kitchen and front of house. Our server, Joe, was wonderfully attentive without being overwhelming. The courses were timed perfectly, which again, I can safely attribute to a highly functional kitchen/FOH relationship. The staff here is a team—no one is afraid to pre-bus, or fill a water. Everyone is polite, gracious, and professional.
