SUPER FUN!!! I went with my 14-yr-old theater kid and she had a blast! We were seated with some of the actors (unbeknownst to us), and that just elevated the whole experience! Very interactive and lots of laughs!

We did a private event for a birthday and it was so amazing. Chris was easy to reach during the planning process. Julie and the actors were so kind and fun to plan with too! The show itself was absolutely amazing! The actors were hilarious and the included all the jokes we talked about and fed off the energy of the group. Everyone talked about how fun it was and they said they laugh so hard. Highly recommend this group for an entertaining, memorable and unique private events!

Probably the worst show I spent money on. We hired them for our company holiday party and 90% of the feed back was how terrible the show was. We wanted it to be funny but it definitely wasn’t and everyone was just waiting for it to be over.
I bought tickets for my wife for her birthday. Since we had never been to a a show like this we were a little bit nervous. However, it didn’t take long before we were laughing, talking with other guests and having a great time. The actors were fun and energetic, the audience participation was hilarious and there was even a competitive aspect where you had the opportunity to “solve” the case at the end and win a prize. The night was a blast and I highly recommend giving this show visit. The only thing that wasn’t great (it was good, not great) was the food. It was pretty basic, hotel catered food and the portions were a little on the smaller side. Have a snack before you come and you’d be fine though ;)

The Dinner Detective is one of my favorite weekend shows to take my mom to. It's ridiculous. It's hilarious. It's the kind of relaxing that only happens when you're invited into a story and cajoled by the hosts to participate and have fun and remember that silly is fun, especially when no one has any skin in the game. Really, it's like the craziest fun people from the theater department are inviting you into their backstage shenanigans for a night to throw out one liners, sing badly, make up a character, and laugh with your neighbors over dinner and wild guesses over the course of a three act play.
This was my second time (third?) with the Dinner Detective group. I most love their friendliness and how much they enter into the entertainment and connecting with the audience. But I also love how over the top this group was in jokes, interactions, and playing dead.
The food is ...filling (kind of bland) and the cash bar is ...better than a dive. But the fun is genuinely fun and the crime is seriously silly. If you want to relax and utterly forget how ridiculous the ridiculous the world is becoming, I would strongly invite you to think up your best alias, come see the dinner detectives, and laugh with strangers for an evening of simple ridiculousness.

If you like comedy, you’ll love this! The actors were very entertaining and funny. I saw a comment that said they only interact with members of the audience who paid extra, and that wasn’t true for the performance I attended. There was no option to pay extra for interaction when we bought tickets. Multiple people from every table were part of the action in one way or another, and the actors were really good at crowd working—they made the interactions with the audience hilarious. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, and the servers were extremely nice and very helpful. It was my very first time attending a murder mystery dinner, and everything was explained very well, so it was easy to understand what to do and to enjoy the experience. We would like to do it again, and we’ll be bringing friends or family next time!

My Wife and I had a great time! Food was excellent and the actors were terrific!
Show was fun, kept us guessing. Food was good, but our table never got our dessert. We let the host know and he said he'd check on it and then we never heard anything. I'd still do it again, but was disappointed we paid for food we didn't get.
What an enjoyable way to spend the evening. Kept us entertained and intrigued. Would 100 percent recommend!!
