Food was pretty alright it came a little slow and we didn’t get coasters for our beverages but yeah it was a little bit cold. Just your average bar

Isaac W was great. Very nice. Wings were a little sweet but they let me do two flavors. Then had stickers on the sides of the platter to identify the two different flavors. 34oz beer was only 8.49 domestic draw (coors light). More horseradish needed on the prime rib melt. The wings were super good and I’ll come back.

Tried to order .99 cent wings for takeout, person on the phone introduced the deal to us originally we thought we were gonna be purchasing full price at the very beginning (SHOULD BE NOTED). Well happy as can be we got 20 wings fries and a small pizza. Texted at 7:11 order was ready so we showed up at 7:15 finally got help 8 minutes later after sitting at the bar, we visibly see our order on the counter ready at 7:18 the waiter who finally helped us said he would go get the order and take payment. The original receipt was full charge for everything so we brought up how the guy on the phone said .99C wings per 1 so the manager came over “begrudgingly” and made us seem like the bad guys for asking them to honor a deal they promised on the phone. Well after she corrected it and should I note, still got the price wrong but oh well. Made us sit there for another 25 minutes yes 25 minutes for a box of 4 cups of sauce. She walks over grabs the pre made order that’s been sitting there since 7:11, grabs the box of sauces from the kitchen and finally brings it over to us, we tipped them $12 on a $44 order btw. Making us look like complete idiots for tipping quality service on a takeout order that was no where near up to par. 0/10 will not dine here or order here ever.

They updated their brunch menu. It was simple and cheap……now they doubled the price (the burrito specifically) and all they added was toast on the side. Not impressed with the changes.

I live about five minutes away from The Good Life and I eat there multiple times a week. I always get the boneless wings with Carlos sauce. If you like really spicy stuff, you will love these wings. They are the perfect amount of heat while still having amazing flavor. 10 out of 10 recommend. They are on sale on Sundays and Thursdays. The staff is super friendly and always super helpful.

I go here a lot in the ‘EVENINGS’. Let me emphasize that, everytime I have been in here during the late lunch/dinner, I’ve waited 20+ minutes for service and to even be acknowledged. This last time, I asked the bar tender if they had anyone in this section after waiting that 20+ minute. Buddy replied with “no we do”, didn’t even seem to care I was walking out. Good life Is great in the evenings, I don’t know if it’s different crews during the day or what but the service is terrible during the daylight. Go elsewhere for an early dinner!

Popped into the new Millard location and was not impressed. First off, the rolling chairs 😬 ordered a starter and our meals. Appetizer and 2/3 meals arrived at the same time. I had ordered a salad wrap and the server said it would be out in just a moment as the kitchen had to remake it? Several minutes later, he came back over to check on us. I asked if it wasn’t ready, to just go ahead and cancel the order as the rest of our family had already finished their meals and we were ready to go. He said he would go push the kitchen to have it right up. Another 10 minutes later, he walked over with it so I had requested a box so we could leave. He then brought the check and said “don’t tell my boss but I gave you 10% off” while I appreciate the gesture, I would have just preferred to have cancelled the order when I was already 20 minutes deep waiting on a salad wrap in tortilla. Outside of that, fries were good. Sad they changed their waffle fry nachos though. They used to be so crispy with fresh pico and shredded cheese. This time they were some fries with cheese microwaved on top. Overall, don’t waste your money. Plenty of other bars in the area with better service and higher quality of tasting food

The waiter was friendly, but she seemed unfamiliar with beers. She could have responded to my question differently. When I inquired about stouts on tap, she didn’t understand what I meant and instead asked if there were any dark beers. She mentioned Sam Adam’s Oktoberfest (which isn’t a stout, but I’ll let it slide), along with some IPA and Modelo.
