I don’t believe the guacamole was “fresh.” Smooth not chunky. It also lacked onion, a squeeze of lime and tomato or seasoning would have helped also. The cheese dip appetizer is similar to a store bought brand like Tostitos. We stopped in on a Sunday around noon on our way to a concert. Service was excellent, food had great flavor, and portions were just right. We had our lunch and check 25 minutes after getting in. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.
The best Mexican food we had ever ate! The owner was also super nice! Their desserts are amazing too!!!!! We couldn’t eat lunch and dessert so we came back later for dessert! Huge portions too! So good!!!

Trini's offers a memorable dining experience with great service and a unique ambiance. Located inside the Old Market Passageway, the restaurant features hanging plants, exposed brick, and gentle lighting that enhance the dining atmosphere. The menu includes delicious options like steak fajitas, street tacos, tostada, and puffy tacos, with the beef being a recommended choice. Guests enjoy the Seafood Nachos, Diablo Stew, and the Seafood Combo, which includes a seafood enchilada, shrimp taco, and shrimp skewer. Trini's accommodates dietary restrictions and serves tasty lime margaritas, including an inexpensive pitcher that makes roughly four margaritas. While the food has a more Mexican-inspired touch than traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex, the fast service and delicious offerings make Trini's a favorite spot for many.
