we love the food. however, tonight we were a bit disappointed when they would not honor or Pinpoint rewards for a free app and also didnt even give us points for our meal. The sign on front door says wings are no longer "on Special ", but doesn't explain anything about Pinpoint. plus, we should've at least got point credits.
We had a large group reservation at Varsity Bar & Roman Coin Pizza, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Eric, the manager, was so easy to work with and genuinely cared about making everything go smoothly for our group.
The food was amazing—the pizza is absolutely wonderful! Our servers were fantastic as well, especially Tori, who was incredibly attentive and made sure our entire group was well taken care of.

Based on six reviews, Varsity Sports Cafe & Roman Coin Pizza in Ralston is a restaurant where the Thai pizza and Italian nachos are delicious per usual. The Cheeseburger and fries always satisfy, and the XXL Chicago Delight pizza is the best in town, with both hand tossed thin crust and thick crust options. The Portobello mushroom appetizer is very good. The cheese, bread and marinara sauce are the best, and the patty melt is the best ever had, with onion rings that are completely over the top. The buffalo chicken pizza is so good. The hand-tossed dough is very good. The BLT with onion rings and ranch are also very good. The staff is always outstanding. The service can be excellent, but sometimes the waitress forgets about customers. The tables in the restaurant are really close together. There is a section with games and a pool table. It is always a lovely experience at the 96th and Q.
