Gave us an expired drink, rice was dry, played loud music and had a bad atmosphere. I rather eat target sushi than this. Rumor has it that they also have mice. Costed 120$, 4 people, crappy food.

This is our 4th time coming here. The last couple times we had to wait a while for the train to start even though we were on tIme. I've never ordered off the train because it was enough for me. We will go back and try different things since the plates have a variety of testers. The kids love picking out their own stuff. Great place to start if you've never tried sushi before. This time the stagging was awesome. We didn't have to wait for anything. We'll definitely be back.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and competent, the food is amazing, and the experience is like nothing else you can get in the state. Just make sure you go for dinner and not lunch, the carousel doesn't run for lunch.

I've never been to a sushi train before and my friends decided to take me here. I have to say, I wasn't overly impressed. Some of the sushi seemed pricey and I was expecting a larger selection of sushi. However, what sushi I DID have was delicious!

The reason I give 3 stars is due to our quite unpleasant waitress. She was extremely unattentive and we had to flag her down whenever we needed someone. We also had an accident and spilled some water. We apologized profusely and she completely ignored us the entire time. It felt very rude.

I'm honest 50/50 about returning here. Considering the prices, I think I'd rather go somewhere else and just buy a couple rolls of what I like. It was a nice experience, though, and I'm glad I was able to sample different kinds of sushi.

When first coming in we thought the place was very fancy and nice looking. The longer we were there, the more we realized our service was not going to match how lovely it looked inside. Our waiter basically ignored us and didn’t even want to come back to take our orders for at least 15 minutes after giving us waters and walking away. Nobody else was being waited on. He stood up front for a long time doing nothing. Came back took our orders. He was very awkward and wouldn’t check on us when clearly we were unhappy because we wanted to ask for things. Would have tipped well if service had been good. We were excited so very disappointed. We sat for 30 minutes with empty plates and kept looking up to see if we were gonna get our checks yet…ended up having to walk up and then he walked to the back for a while. Didn’t even want to tip I was so frustrated. I did just because it feels wrong not to. Definitely didn’t earn it. The food was good.

Love coming here & now my kids love it too. The only down side is when they are busy and you are at the end of the train you don't get alot of the food you may want

By far one of the better sushi conveyor belt restaurants I’ve been to! Delicious sushi, most of the rolls with a great textural contrast. Fast service. Best part was Tuesday and Wednesday it’s all you can eat for $28!

Yamato Sushi Train & Grill in Omaha is a winner! We loved the fun conveyor belt and fresh, delicious sushi during our Sunday lunch. The Seared Pepper Tuna was perfectly seared and a definite highlight. Don't miss the Sesame Balls for dessert either – they were fantastic! Quick, friendly service and a great atmosphere.

The sushi is amazing and it's fun to get it on the train! Sometimes people don't know the rules of the train, the last time we went their a group of people was taking our orders off the train we was upset thanks to our server telling them the rules

Good food. Can get a little busy around dinner time, (5:30-6:30) so expect a wait around then. You can pick from the “train” or order from the menu. Servers could be a little more attentive to refilling drinks but overall pleased with dining here.

Chicken pad tai is my favorite. I asked to make it spicy and they put the right amount of spice. My server was very nice, knowledgeable and welcoming. I would definitely come back !!
