Service was slow and inefficient. Salmon and sauce was excellent, but Brussel sprouts were undercooked and not edible (too hard to chew) Bread & butter did not arrive before soup & salad, only when we asked about it. We arrived at 6 (as reservation was made) but did not have time to finish our meal and glass of wine before the 7:30 show.

We really enjoyed Zinc. The customer service from all staff was excellent. Great advice, and speedy service. It was very enjoyable, and the food was a good value for the money. The salad was especially good.

Our dining experience at the Zinc is always very good......most enjoyable in all respects..........this time was no different. Our new server, Olivia, did a wonderful job taking good care of us.

The single biggest benefit to dining at ZINC is when you want to enjoy a meal prior to seeing a show/concert at the Holland Center. On the two occasions we've done just that, our experience has been sufficient enough given the unparalleled convenience of simply walking upstairs to see the show. If I were evaluating ZINC outside of that context, I would be less impressed. I say that, not as a criticism so much as an acknowledgement that ZINC is not a full-service fine dining restaurant. The food has always been well-made and satisfying, but the menu is small and several of the dishes share elements, likely to accommodate for the fact that it doesn't operate on the same scale as a full-size standalone restaurant. The service is similar in that the staff is always friendly and polite, but both times we've had concerns about the speed with which we have been attended to by our waiter. This last time, it seemed like there was only a single waitstaff person for the entire dining room. There were others helping with running food and drinks and clearing tables, but they all looked like they were being asked to do too much. In conclusion, if you are seeing a show at Holland, don't hesitate to grab a table at ZINC for a pre-show meal. They fill that niche quite well. But if you are just looking for some fine dining in downtown Omaha, there are better options.

Enjoyable evening meal and great service But we asked to take home extra food and had the waitress take our plates out into the kitchen to place leftovers in boxes. We were told as has been the routine to pick our leftovers up at the bar after the symphony. We came to the bar and there were no boxes of left overs and no one knew anything about them! Had been good to that point. We've picked up leftovers up at least 2 times before and no problem. Several people were also looking for their leftovers.

My husband and I had a nice experience her before a symphony performance, 6pm reservation and 7:30pm showtime. Service was somewhat slow for us but we finished our meal with time to get to the show. Unfortunately there were several tables (some were even seated before us) that did not get their food before showtime and had to leave hungry and disappointed. Make sure and leave a good cushion of time if you plan to eat here.

We enjoy having dinner here before our concert. Great food, wonderful service. We do make reservations early at 5:30 pm and they get busy after 6:00. Service is better for early arrival.

I had the grilled salmon entrée, and the vegetable kale soup. The salmon, brussels sprouts and potatoes were excellent, I did not care for the soup. My friends had the chicken entrée and thought that it was very good as well however, the green beans that came with it or not as tasty as she had hoped they would be. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I both had the chicken breast. It was outstanding. The server was very nice and attentive. The strawberry cake dessert we shared was so delicious. It topped off a wonderful meal! Biscuits and salads were very good too?

The food is ok, not spectacular. I actually prefer the Holland bar across the hall. Many better dining choices downtown. The service was decent though.

Decent food and very coinvent to the show we were attending you cna get good parking early relax and have a glass of wine and good food. Very professional wait staff. Small so not to loud. Carpet would improve acoustics though. Potatoes got cold fast heated plates would help with that. Adequate menu choices and most of the dishes going to others looked well presented and potentially tastey as well. My wife loved the waffle coated chicken.

Was a great spot for lunch before the Christmas show. So convenient to arrive early, enjoy quite lunch and not have to rush to park. Lunch menu is more limited that dinner. The burgers and meatloaf were very tasty although somewhat expensive to other restaurants. They were dense, large patties and very filling with great fries. Leftovers are packaged and refrigerated to be picked up at bar after the show which is convenient service to offer. I would come back again prior to performance at either of the Holland halls.

Great, creative menu. Each item has a unique twist. I wanted to try several of the entrees, and the soup du juor was amazing. I wish I'd had room for a dessert! Make a reservation as soon as you can as it fills up often. It is incredibly convenient to have dinner within the building.

We really like the convenience of being able to park then eat and then attend the concert. My daughter and I had an entree salad; it was EXACTLY as described but with too little dressing. My husband had the pork chop which was EXCELLENT. The charcuterie was good and the pistachio gelato (shared) was very good!! Our vodka tonics were excellent.

A nice cozy environment; quiet enough that we could actually carry on a conversation. My only complaint, as a vegetarian, is that I wish they had more options to choose from! The mac and cheese is great, but I'd like to have something else for a change!
