“I love Martini's & this place was on my list for my bday on 12/15 - yes I know its not open on Sun, so my plan was to go on Sat the 14th. Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! The place is so elegant n beautiful & has a very classy comfortable feeling to it - I knew I would 💜 it! At the bar talking about my quest n fail of trying to come here for my bday a few weeks ago, sitting next to me was the bar manager Carmen - she said she'd buy me a shot n I was like "oh cool", I never saw it so thought she was just being nice n a totally forgot n I thought 'its ok, no biggie"....then I go to pay my bill & turns out she picked up my 1st round of drinks - so extremely super sweet of her & I appreciated that n her so much. “This is the best bar in Omaha, which makes it the best bar in an approximate 600 mile radius. All the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable, to the extent that they all have their own custom cocktails on the menu. I have never had a more personable experience in the service industry, either. I could come here on any given day and find something here or even in myself that I didn't have the day before. “I’d been here before to simply enjoy their alcoholic milkshakes - but little did I know that I was heavily sleeping on the food!
Of course, I have to mention that the service was fabulous. They were super attentive, despite the diner ‘phone ordering’ style of the spot. They cleaned a table out front for me since I didn’t want to sit in the back (it’s dark and I get sleepy haha I’ll wait for natural light!), constantly ensured our space was cleared, and checked on us regularly.

The drinks are always great, and I would recommend the mint chip one the most. I also enjoy their mezcal cocktail!

BUT
Their side of Mac and cheese is what really blew me away! It took longer than the other food ordered at the table (nachos - also delicious, burgers, and fries) BUT was entirely worth the wait. Their Mac and cheese is far from store bought, with a thick creamy sauce that is heavy and filling. It’s seasoned well, but not overpowering to the cheesy-ness. The pull of the cheese said it all! The top was clearly baked, crispy and dark. I was truly in Mac and cheese heaven and made sure to have my friend give it a try as well, who was also incredibly impressed. While it is only a side, since it is so dense, it serves me as a meal! Highly recommend you give this spot a try for the vibes, but don’t sleep on the Mac!“

“Such a hidden gem in Omaha!”
I stumbled into The Tipsy Pig with a few friends and ended up staying way longer than planned! The vibe is upscale but totally welcoming. The cocktails? Next level. I had the pistachio martini and it was hands down one of the best drinks I’ve ever had—smooth, unique, and perfectly balanced.

Service was amazing too—our server was super friendly and made great recommendations without rushing us. Loved the cute lounge decor and the cozy patio outside. This place is perfect for date nights, girls’ nights, or just when you want to feel fancy without breaking the bank.

“Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.“
