About Talus Spirits & Sustenance Papillion

Based on the reviews, Talus Spirits & Sustenance in Papillion is a gem with an upscale, trendy atmosphere that feels like a great spot for a date night or special dinner. It gets very busy on the weekends, so making a reservation ahead of time is recommended. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Crab & artichoke Dip was delicious, rich, and the perfect texture for a spreadable dip. The Mt Fuji mushroom risotto is also great and well balanced. However, the seafood risotto was missing the flavor of the seafood. The Lenten fish sandwich was that good, and the burger is a loyal favorite. The meatloaf was the best ever, though the sauce recently changed to something more tomato-forward. Drinks are exceptional; the edelweiss Mule and Blackberry Shrub Mule were good but indistinguishable from each other. The blackberry mule, smoked old fashioned, Brussel sprouts, and buffalo Gouda Mac were all amazing. The atmosphere is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly. The decor is very modern and cool looking.

Exactly what Papillion and south Sarpy needed. A top notch chef driven restaurant without having to go into Omaha. My compliments/hats off to the whole staff and management. Great food, great service and great ambiance. We will be returning

We went to Talus tonight to celebrate our anniversary. Food and service were top notch. We started with the Shrimp and Corn Tacos from the Happy Hour menu. I would go back just for those.

My husband had the Argentinian Steak entree and I had the Shrimp and Cashew pasta, both excellent choices.

We enjoyed the Dolomite Fiore, Cinder Ridge Old Fashioned, and the Mile High Clover Club cocktails. I’m particularly fond of the cocktails with egg whites. The Mile High...read full review

We had a wonderful dinner on their beautiful patio! Our server, Sam, took great care of us and our meals were really delicious!
