“This is our go-to restaurant when we want to go out for mexican food but also want to stick close to home. We've been eating at this location since we moved to the area 8 and a 1/2 years ago. The enchiladas suiza is a favorite but I do usually have to ask for a little extra green sauce as they don't seem to put enough on for my taste. The chips and salsa are good and of course you can never go wrong with their tacos or chimichangas.“

“Great old building that has been beautifully revamped. Up scale atmosphere. Food is beyond fabulous! Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with homemade ricotta, Caramel Apple French Toast, tator tots, Eggs Benedict with Italian sausage and Cannoli DiGiacomo are all incredibly delicious. Service is great. The owners know what they are doing! This was our second trip and will not be our last as this is our new place for bunch. It was packed today so I suggest you make a reservation. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We each did the Prix Fixe menu, trying an array of the items. “Great place to reserve for a large group or party! Saro kindly hosted my graduation party and it was the most wonderful experience. The layout is open in such a way that I did not feel like anyone was excluded during the party because we could always have eyes on everyone there. The turnout was quick throughout the entire night for drinks and we never ran out of yummy easily snackable plates. As an added bonus, everything on their menu is gluten free so it was very inclusive to our GF friends & family. “WE LIVED FOR THIS PLACE!! The DJ, I cannot believe how superb his music choice was. My group was 60s to 21 and we all danced for hours. Melanie and Amber were fantastic waitresses. The drinks were GREAT prices and everyone was so friendly. The bartenders were so aware of the bar and assisting people the whole night. We ordered nachos and so tasty! We left and tried other places and STILL came back here. I travel a lot and would have to say this was hands down my favorite spot to dance and drink!“

“Very cool ambience and decoration. The location on the basement of the hotel gives the appearance of an actual speakeasy but there is easy access to the street. Music was a bit too loud for a speakeasy ambience. Cocktails were not consistent, due mainly to bartenders. There was one that knew what they were doing and the other not so much. I guess just luck if you get the right person. Food options not that extensive here. The steak bites were great though. Super tender and flavorful. Overall, good for a stop and definitely should be check out.“

She asked what I would like and I said and Olde Fashioned, she replied, what bourbon, I said dealer's choice. She chose well. The price/size of the beverage was just about perfect. “I went for lunch on a Friday with a colleague from work. Our service was wonderful, our waitress was a dear! The atmosphere was wonderful kind of a casual New Orleans/ French vibe but two things I think its needs (and these are kind of nitpicky): 1) for being New Orleans inspired the only thing that suggested that was the menu (and the name) some more ambiance would be nice and 2) the table was small. We sat at a table for two but between the drinks, appetizer plates, main course plates and then the bottles of hot sauce and other detritus there was no room on the table to actually comfortably eat!The food was wonderful but the reason I gave it a three is that there weren't a lot of options for non-red meat or non-pork eaters. Even the salads had bacon or pork sausage. I ended up getting a shrimp roll - which was wonderful but other than the spinach dip appetizer was basically the only thing I could order with out being obnoxious and asking for half the ingredients to be removed from a dish (which I have asked for before but I don't like being 'that' person.)Dietary restrictions: Be careful not a lot of options“

I usually don't factor my interactions with staff into how much I enjoy a restaurant, but every single person here was very genuinely friendly.As we got carded for our drinks, we only barely mentioned that we had just moved here to Omaha. This place is great.Located in the basement of a former residential hotel-turned-apartments, this place is actually a re-creation of the original Red Lion, a jazz club located in the same place.The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the staff warm and knowledgeable, without the least bit of pretense, which is increasingly rare in Blackstone. Framed photos of famous jazz musicians line the walls, as do high-backed, semi- circular booths, reminiscent of old- school Hollywood haunts. The prices are reasonable, too. You must experience this. My wife and I had a nice dinner there last week, and I wanted to leave them a good review. This is a total neighborhood bar, nothing fancy, just good food and good people, the staff is very friendly. They have a standard menu with typical bar fare, fries, rings, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They also generally have a special on the board, the night we went they had a Wisconsin bacon cheddar burger, which was great. We also had a basket of onion rings and a bowl of chili. The rings were nice, very crispy and tasty. The chili was definitely homemade and was perfect for a cold night, highly recommended. “I have only been here twice, but both times I have loved the experience! The bartender really knows their stuff, and is good at balancing attending to patrons, memorizing orders to mix, and making conversation if you are sitting at the bar. Every drink I have seen comes out beautifully and each one I've tasted even more so. I have enjoyed trying the funky seasonal creations, and want to keep coming back for each new menu. I have not tried the NA drinks, but really appreciate that they are an option!!Drinks aside, I LOVE the small atmosphere, the quirky design of the interior, and whoever plays DJ deserves a raise. Beyond the beauty, these servers went above and beyond. We didn't book the entire place since it was only a group of nine but they created a baby-specific playlist and changed the upper lights to pink. The drinks were fun--LED light ice cubes and woman-shaped glasses. Affogato was spot on! The well-priced charcuteries ($30) contained a good selection, fully covering large boards. It's a large, yet intimate, creative space. They had a large calendar of activities too. Talking to an owner, they also offer to rent out the space and will curate an activity (escape room, bingo, etc...) for your event; milestone birthdays, company/team outing, showers, etc... Save yourself the stress--score!“

My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye.Our conclusion?The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited.It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative.We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.“

“Came here for the first time on a cold Monday night, because it was my sister's last night in town, so I'm not surprised that it was pretty dead & there wasn't a lot going on. Would definitely like to come back when there's a show going on or something. The space is very cute & cozy, I love the wainscoting & the the wallpaper & the light fixtures. Feels like an old house. There's a little library nook with a cool vintage couch. However, the lighting was so dark that it was hard to appreciate the design of it all. Accompanied my sister when she went out to smoke on the patio & the heater on the awning was nice. Her friend bought everyone one of these sake in a juice box. Never heard of it before so not sure if they're common or a rare find, but how cute! Overall the experience was good but because it was so dark, kinda quiet & mostly empty, it almost lulled me to sleep. I'll have to check it out another time & give an update.“

We didn't know what to expect, but this exceeded it.The cocktails were all pretty good and well-crafted, especially the mezcal-based one with thyme oil. Service was that middle distance where they mainly leave you alone but they're very helpful, friendly, and personal when they do engage. Music was fantastic. Exactly the right volume, with beats that made you feel alive and happy at an almost subconscious level. I'd be interested in stopping back in for some off the menu cocktails and see how those go. This could well be an under the radar 5-star lounge.“

These are attached to a grassy area with some lawn games. Overall just a fun environment. There is a small bar that serves some cocktails along with high noons and beers. The pretty cocktails were refreshing and delicious. The lines for drinks can be lengthy on a busy night but it moves fairly quickly. This would be a great spot to get together with friends or family earlier in the night. It's a fun spot to sit outdoors and sip on some drinks. We went on a night where they were doing salsa lessons which was a blast!“

The crab and artichoke dip starter was so delicious and I could easily go here for that alone! The Argentinan Pork was delicious as well! Amazing flavor!
