“We just had a gathering of 15 people and the waitress did not know how to separate the orders into the system. Lack of training comes to mind. Having a new person handling that large of a group without being able to split into multiple orders created a lot of fun trying to check out. A year ago we didn’t have any problems. Things change. Fortunately the food still pleases most of the group. I ordered gluten free pizza with extra sauce, didn’t see extra sauce and would prefer a cauliflower crust to what I got (I sure hope it was gluten free). My husband ordered angel hair and got spaghetti. The more experienced staff was getting a sunday off which is good. They seem to be busier than they used to be.“

The waitress, Ellie, was attentive and kind. She provided speedy service with a smile.

Kenneth Mathis, a guitarist, was performing ageless guitar licks in a soft and serene way that had me floating through my meal in a bit of a dream. Rock on man

All in all there is a reason why they are Omaha’s best of 2025. You won’t be disappointed visiting Luigi’s, and make sure you get a Cannoli to go!“
