We found this gem on our way through the area, just off I-80. Delicious breakfast and lunch items, especially the award winning green chili, local eggs and some of the best cheese curds I've ever had, but everything was delicious. We took pie to go, it looked so good but we didn't have room due to their generous portions. Can also get other baked goods, frozen or canned items. Accommodating and friendly service, particularly towards our young kids. Very clean. Very affordable....read full review
We drove right by here on our Lincoln Highway trip. But even if you have to veer off I-80, this is well worth the stop. We were excited to try the (mini!) tin roof sundae - this was the original home of this famous sundae which features some of my favorite tastes from my youth -- fudge sauce and peanuts; ice cream and marshmallow fluff. Found my new spot while passing thru NE. Easy to access off I-80. Very tasty food! I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak & sweet chili wing/drum basket that came with fries/tater tots. Can’t wait to try
