A nice place. It’s an old school truck stop so it looks how you’d expect it but it’s a good place to stop. My breakfast was amazing and my wife tried the raisin cream pie and it was quite wonderful. It’s a bit small but it’s part of the charm.

Awesome classic diner connected to a truck stop. Seems like it's always filled with friendly local folks, which is a good sign. The food, coffee, and service was fantastic. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Can't wait to try the pie later!

Love this place!!! Old school truck stop diner with good food. Can't stay away from their Scrumptious Burger.

I have been going to this place for years. And years for breakfast and I don't know what happened, but yeah, like a light switch, everything changed, the food has somehow downgraded. The service is twice as long or inefficient, and the prices are ridiculously high for a small gas station cafe.

Having breakfast at the Crystal Cafe is like going back in time to a diner twenty years ago, in a good way. Tables are filled with friends and families taking to one another rather than being on their phones. Waitresses are warm, welcoming and quick to serve delicious dishes. It’s one of the last remaining breakfast cafes in the Sioux City area that has those great diner vibes with friendly faces and great food.

This was recommended to me at my hotel. I enjoyed a chicken fried steak and potatoes that hit the spot. Great food and reasonably priced.

This was a good experience for lunch. We both had a hot beef sandwich. The hot beef was good but could have used a little more roast compared to the amount of gravy. The pie was phenomenal! The mile high meringue did not disappoint. Will be back again soon to try another main dish and more pie.

We have lived here all our lives and never tried this cafe. It is a small truck stop that is very busy, which should tell you that the food is great. The cafe is attached to the truck stop gas station. Our server was very good and handled the large Sunday crowd well. The cafe is small, but the way it’s arranged makes it seem bigger. The atmosphere is that of a dated truck stop, but it’s super clean and comfortable.

It's your typical Midwestern truck stop diner. It has more character than the big chains, but I can't say the food is much better—it's about even par. The service is very personal, though, with that small town charm. And what you really go there for is the pie.

Excellent homestyle food and service is awesome. Welcoming atmosphere. The locals hangout.

Needed a quick meal. Still sitting here a hour and half later. Multiple people served before our table. The one random short hair in the fries was the kicker
