“At first, I visited to just get my Wine Passport stamped but what I found is that they grow their own grapes and have other local wineries turn it into wine. The owner is very nice and I talked with her for a bit about the vineyard and wines. She pointed out where which grapes are grown where which is pretty cool! I tasted the St. Vincent which is so excellent that I ended up buying a bottle! St. Vincent was vinted by Whiskey Run Creek. They also have Edelweiss and Frontenac Blanc white wines. Which I will try next time I visit this orchard. They also have some really good smelling foods which I will buy next time. They have music throughout the summer and on those days they are open later than normal. I highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“We tried Tommy’s from a recommendation from my daughter. I’m so glad we did. I’m still thinking about the Vietnamese coffee. So good. Tommy came out and talked to us. He uses everything fresh, the meats, the veg and you can taste it. And the portions were huge so we had leftovers. I love leftovers. Yum! We will definitely be making Tommy’s a regular. And we live 35 miles away. Worth the drive.”

“Seven minutes after entering the state of Nebraska we were rolling up to this Runza restaurant knowing how enjoyable this Nebraska classic is. As usual they did not disappoint with a friendly welcome we placed our order and shortly afterwards were enjoying the fresh made daily meat pockets they are famous for. We ordered both the classic and cheese Runzas. Both are very good but we prefer the cheese over the original. We also got the hand cut and battered onion rings which came out hot and crispy. Their seasonal pumpkin spice shake looked very tempting but I skipped and regretted afterwards as I really wanted to try one! Well worth the visit when passing through Nebraska! This location had friendly staff, clean bathrooms and great food.”

“Visited when apples weren't in season but they did have a nice selection of cider, jams, honey, pickled veggies and wine. Had several pies, turnovers and other baked goods. Although we did not eat there, they do have a nice little restaurant as well.
Prices were a tad bit high but to be expected. (Honey $25, $16,$8. Jams $9)
Staff was very friendly. Would recommend. I'll be getting my birthday apple pie there this year.”

“We chose cake creations for our wedding cake/cupcakes. The cake/cupcakes were delicious and had such light and fresh flavors. We did not get to taste all of the flavors before they were gone (so glad our guests loved them too!), but it's a great excuse to return for more! The wedding cake was beautiful and decorated exactly like we had asked.They were very accommodating when we went in for a tasting and asked to try a few additional sample flavors, as well as very professional when an unfortunate event happened and the samples that were sent out made it to the wrong customer. They quickly made new plans with us to correct the mistake. Delivery went smoothly and was prompt. Thanks for helping make our day extra sweet!”

“We just spent the weekend at the Arbor Day lodge. The accommodations were excellent. The food at Timbers was amazing! The scenery was the best. The trails were so lovely and well kept. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. If you’re looking to connect with nature with your family, this is an excellent place. The camp fire and s’mores put it over the top!”
