Not impressed. The owner Bob was so rude to a young hispanic employee in front of everyone— I was embarrassed for him. He clearly needs to retire because he does not enjoy being nice to paying customers or to his hard working employees. The margs are a 0/10, I wouldn’t even call this a margarita as it is just tequila on the rocks. The “salsa” is just cut up tomatoes so don’t get your hopes up because you will be paying $9.75 for chips and salsa. We didn’t even make it to the entrées because we were so disappointed in this establishment.

Shockingly, the best burger in town! Get the waffle fries for the side. They cook in the same grease as the yummy flour chips which makes them taste so much better than anyone else. Great place!

My family was very excited to try El Bees for the first time but sadly, this will be our last. We walked in and immediately noticed the rude host (who I later found out was the owner). He was rude toward multiple parties and seemed annoyed they were busy. The margaritas are not made with a margarita mix, which we were informed after they were already brought out to us. The $10 chips and salsa were basically diced tomatoes. This was all too much for us so we decided to grab our check after the 15 minutes we were there and went to another Mexican restaurant. The rude owner was the reason that we won't give it another try though.

My whole fam loves El Bees, been going there for years! We get the corn tortillas w/ pico de gallo for appetizer. My fav dish is quesadilla grande shredded beef w/ beans 'n rice. I order an extra order of rice to go home w/ my left overs. Hubby will sometimes have the fajitas or the Macho Chimichanga. Thanks El Bees! ?Parking: Nice big flat parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids in there all the time.Wheelchair accessibility: I think it's good. Flat parking lot. Handicap spots right in front of building, no steps, double doors into building, majority of inside is flat except for 1-2 steps up into small area on one end by the bar (around the bar itself is flat).

This is a gem of a restaurant in Waterloo, NE. It is cozy inside, very friendly staff and good service. The food is well prepared and comes out fast and hot. I'd highly recommend taking your family here for dinner.

The prices have gotten out of hand here plus, they charge $9.95 for salsa and chips!!! The food however, is pretty good.

If you want a strongggggg margarita, El Bee's is the place to go. Most of the food is some combination of meat, tortilla, and a crap ton of cheese and sauce on top, but they still get five stars for the margs. Also, I know it's a Mexican restaurant, but they do have the BEST chicken strips, waffles fries, and ranch.

This was once one of our favorite spots in the area, not any more. The food was cold, the margheritas were weak and the service was indifferent, almost surly. The servers who had been there for years were conspicuously absent, having been replaced by persons from the darkest corners of the third world. I'm sad to say this place should now be avoided.

Great service. Average to below average food. Bland. Taste like they need to change their grease. Would not make special trip to eat there.

So here's the deal. If you've read any of my reviews you know that Mexican food is my religion. The food was fine. I had been warned before I went but the parking lot was full so I was hopeful. After having eaten all I can surmise is people in Nebraaka don't know good Mexican food. In their defense if they've never had good Mexican how would they know? My big problem with this place was the towel in the bathroom that is a leftover from 1970. It is an actual towel everyone wipes their hands on. While in the bathroom a child claimed to "wash his hands really good" which never went anywhere near the sink after he had pooped. His words. This is the towel the staff uses to wipe their hands on when they return to work which probably explains why I was sick the entire next day. Just plain gross.
