The chicken was great. Pricey but you get a lot of food.
It's worth the drive to eat at Farmer Brown's! They have a great menu with a variety of choices and a good drink selection. If it's busy, you can wait in the bar/lounge area until your table is ready. Food is alwats amazing, each and every time.
Took my mom here for her birthday. Staff was super fast & friendly & the food was awesome!
Great Food and Service
First time visiting tonight at Farmer Browns. Had the shaved prime sandwich and it was awful not worth the $21.99. It was more like a Philly sandwich. Never had any onions on it and was not at all tasty food as bland. No bread served and asked for it and still was never served. We only had a party of two so it’s not like they had a ton of orders from our party. The chicken liver were bland too- no seasoning. The chicken liver weren’t bad after you drown them in ketchup. Highly disappointed- mentioned to the waitress the food didn’t taste right and she replied oh that’s to bad.
To bad as the owner or manger you wouldn’t offer a refund or future rain check for how bad the meal for two was. If I would have paid by credit card I would have disputed it in a heart beat. Maybe you need to better educate your wait staff too on how to handle situations when customers say the food doesn’t taste right.
The space has a very cozy farmhouse atmosphere where the food is nearly outshined by its waitresses. The prime rib is insanely proportioned and the price is fair for how much you get. The sides were good but the meat was the star of the show.
Definitely old school country food and atmosphere. The prime rib was awesome!! Chicken fried steak was not near as good.
I wish I would have taken pictures. Great food and Service. We were in Fremont picking up our son from college and wanted to try something new and a local restaurant.
100% would recommend this place to anyone.
Ribeye was tough and zero flavor. Order anything but the steak. Sad for a Nebraska restaurant
Great classic Nebraska steakhouse.

Went for lunch and pleasantly surprised. Wonderful service, nice portions, good food.
There are lots of options on the menu. The prime rib ran from $35 to the huge farmer’s cut at about $50. There was a small sirloin for $8. They also have the old-fashioned ice cream drinks.
As a native Nebraskan, I dont know how i did not know about this place until I saw someone post about it on Tik Tok! It was definitely worth the 45 min drive to get there. Steak was enormous and delicious and prices were reasonable for what you got. Loved the spaghetti as a side option - very creative and yummy! You have to like a sweet sauce, which I do, but might not be for everybody.
Went on a Wednesday night because we had a group of 8 and saw on their website that they don't take reservations, so figured we should avoid a busy weekend night. Was surprisingly busy for the middle of the week (maybe I'm the only one who didn't know about this place?), but they were able to get us right in!
We all had a mix of steak, burgers and walleye. The walleye was cooked a tad more than it needed to be, but still good. The steaks were excellent. They make their own salad dressing, too, which was fantastic. Very broad selection to choose from! Highly recommend!
Never got asked a drink order. Took forever to get a sever had reservations and didn't get seated for fifteen minutes afterward. I had to ask for bill so we could leave. Took 2 hours it was had because we had small kids. Not a place I would go again
Excellent meal with generous portions!
