“We’ve driven by Almost There many times. The parking lot is always packed. But to our surprise they had more than ample seating inside and out. We opted for the Thursday special of fish & chips, which was lightly breaded Yankee style haddock. Two fish & chips for $23.99 (regular price $17.99 each) From the time we walked in and had no waiting (at 630pm) to our amazing service. The food was definitely delicious. Yes great seafood in the mountains 😊. Since it is just 40 minutes (pretty much normal timing) to this restaurant we will definitely be back to try out much more of their menu.”

“We had Cheese Louise cater our wedding, that had a music festival theme, and they knocked it out of the park! The appetizers were incredible, and everyone loved the variety of the grilled cheeses on the menu. The food really tied the theme together!”

“As a celiac of 28 years this place is a dream come true. The owner and her staff are the most lovely people. They always accommodate my needs and never make me feel like a burden. Every single thing I’ve ever eaten or drank here is mind blowing-ly delicious! The biscuit breakfast sandwich is some sort of magical epiphany. You would NEVER know that it’s vegan! I am not vegan, but that biscuit with the vegan eggs and sausage are not just good enough they are top notch culinary excellence. I drive over an hour and a half, one way to get a taste of these culinary delights! Don’t just eat here because you have to, eat here because you should!!”

“This is definitely my favorite Irish restaurant/pub and wish it was closer to me. The decor is pretty cool and unique. My family and I enjoyed dining there. The service and food were fantastic.

I had an Irish coffee with Bailey's and it was so good I had to have another. For my meal, I did the Irish sampler; 3 bowls consisting of Shepard's pie, beef stew, and pot pie. All were amazing but my favorites were the beef stew then the Shepard's pie. Overall, a great spot for some Irish food and can't wait to go back!”

“We ordered pistachio ricotta, triple chocolate and raspberry lemon mousse as well as torta del nonna, tiramisu and cannelloni to serve as desserts at my daughters wedding - and they were all absolutely delicious. Everyone commented on how amazing they all were. We were so lucky to find Cafe Italia and Lory - who was amazing to work with and so kind - and what a talented baker!! Would highly recommend for any event!!”

UPDATE 9/20/2025 - I agree with another poster that the more you order the more they become aggravated and don't want to be bothered with you. This woman wanted nothing to do with us and wanted us in and out even though we ordered sandwiches, cream cheeses and bagels to go this time. Spent a small fortune. Older woman was unprofessional and rude. We're done.

(Original ) Not sure if we got someone new but she didn't know what she was doing. One complaint would be they put all bagels in one bag so when we got home our cinnamon raisin and sesame bagels smelled and had the taste of the onion ones.”
