Tucked away in the beautiful town of Amherst is this amazing restaurant! The Black Forest offers delicious foods that will cater to healthy leaning or to those who crave sinfully delicious cookies, pastries, and cakes ? I chose healthy and went with a Mediterranean Salmon and Napa cabbage slaw. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the slaw added a nice crunch and some acidity to brighten up the rich filet. Really great restaurant and market bakery. Restaurant is full service with sit down tables. Menu is different and breaks the standard mold. Market bakery has tons of options for quick foods and bakery items. stopped in to get a hot chocolate and honestly kinda fell in love. it’s a cute place that smells so yummy and has so many good food options. the staff clearly cared about the work they did — super nice to everyone in the store, very pleasant attitudes, sweet to a fumbling newcomer like me. I particularly liked how kindly they addressed their evident regulars. def recommend stopping in for a treat
