“We had the BEST chicken pot pie last night for take-out. We always love the food and staff at Cold Mountain cafe, it’s our special little date night spot. But we wanted to share that if you prefer to eat at home, the take-out option is just as good. Thank you for the comfort food last night!“

“Took my wife here for her birthday, although we’ve been in town for 6 years we’ve never tried this place, that was a mistake. We chose the five course chef’s choice with wine pairings. The server asked about food allergies and diet issues and from there our meal was in their hands. The first few dishes were brought out and described by the server in great detail and soon the chef/owner also came out and talked to us and then he started delivering and describing the courses. Each course was amazing and all sourced with local ingredients! I eaten at a lot of different places but Timber Alley really provided a very special and unique dining experience! Will definitely return!“

“Its difficult to make reservations to get in there because it doesn't have much seating, so book way ahead...but the food, wine, ambiance, service (Britney) was outstanding! Well worth the reservation hassle. Three of us got the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The Port reduction demiglace was perfect on it. The accompanying vegetables were excellent as well (but would ask for more of the mashed next time). our fourth had the rack of lamb and loved it as well. I also had the Burrata salad (substituted baby spinach for the arugula (that stuff and way to bitter to go with burrata!) and it was very good as well. The baby spinach went nicely...I'll be trying that again at home. The crème brûlée was just okay (not bad, but not great). If I get back up there again, the Wine Cellar is a must!“
