It was incredibly busy when we arrived my husband and I, but we were immediately swallowed up in the fun and upbeat atmosphere. It made the whole evening pass in a blink and then added fabulous food and terrific cocktail service.

i came with a group of 12 and the food was absolutely fantastic. I got the new York steak and it was cooked to perfection . looking forward to coming back and getting it again

We went there tonight ..meeting another couple for an early dinner ..hostess wasn't very helpful ...almost rude....that is basically your first impression coming into the restaurant...not a good one ..but when you get your cocktail and it's perfect and your entree that's delicious you forget about that...that's the reason for the 4 stars.....

We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Canoe last night. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect event! Reservations were made a month ahead to accommodate our party. We were allowed to bring in party favors and a custom cake. Our server, the food, the wine selections were all top notch. If you like great wine, ask to see the managers wine list. I highly recommend Canoe for a quiet evening out or a great party with friends. Thank you for taking great care of us.

Sat at a hightop on Mon night. Server was excelkent-knowledgeable and good personality. Food was fantastic! Shrimp scampi app, Salmon and shortrib Stroganoff entrees. Stroganoff was one of best Ive had!

3 of 4 meals were great. My fried chicken sandwich was really dry and bland. Even with bacon and tomato on it. There isn't much of a water view. I can see how certain people would like this place though.

Upstairs had a small wait so we went to the bar downstairs and had it all to ourselves! Todd the Bartender was awesome!

Outstanding calamari appetizer. My wife had the peach and burrata crostini which was quite good as well. Main course was beef tenderloin medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus with béarnaise sauce. Quite good. My wife had the haddock special which she enjoyed as well.

I have always had this experiences at the canoe. This visit could have gone better.
