The bartender Lily is always great she's very personable and friendly and always remembers our drink order. I tried the wagyu meatloaf last night with macaroni and cheese and spinach and it was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time. I also like the little added touches like packing up leftovers for the customer, which most places don't do any longer. My husband and I always look forward to our nights out at the Canoe!

We dined downstairs in the lounge area and were very happy! The food was excellent and our waiter was, friendly and polite providing good service with out neglecting or over attentiveness allowing us to enjoy our meal. We had the Halibut special (outstanding) and the baked haddock along with candied pork belly appetizer. YOU CANNOT GO wrong at the Canoe restaurant.

The baked haddock was probably the best I had ever had. My compliments to the chef. (My wife had the short rib stroganoff and that was exquisite, too!)

You can tell a lot about a restaurant when its parking lot is always full! The wonderful shuttle driver/valet helped us park and gave us some wonderful food recommendations. Though it was a little bit before a host came (it was very busy), it was a normal wait before we got seated. Our waitress was very nice and attentive - my chicken caesar salad was pretty good, absolutely no issues. My aunt and uncle had the beef tenderloin medallions, and honestly, there was nothing left! Dessert was fantastic, the cheesecake of the week was marbled and it was delightful according to my uncle. My butter cake was very light cake complimented by a side of the salted caramel ice cream, it was the perfect end. Highly recommend...but definitely reserve ahead on high demand evenings!

You can't go wrong with the Canoe. For a nice quiet atmosphere and excellent bartending I would recommend the downstairs bar; the bartender is a rare breed of fine gentleman, who whips up the best cocktails in the area.

Was there last week with family and friends. We had delicious assortment of apps and entrees. We really enjoyed the specialty cocktails. Our favorite was the Maple black walnut Manhattan. We wish we would have asked for the ingredients. Hope to be back next year.

Took a day trip: decided to stop for lunch at Canoe. Walkway in nicely landscaped. Not much for signage, looked closed. Inside basic decor.

Food was just average. Husband tried meatloaf, since it is one of his favorites. Loaf itself was nice and tender but he was not a fan of the large amount of spicy ketchup on top. It took away from the flavor.

Burnt ends i was not a fan but hubby thought they were good. Too fatty for me since they were made with pork belly.

Pizza advertised as wood fired traditional cheese. It was clearly a frozen 4 cheese pizza. Odd taste, definitely not as expected.

Though food was just okay. Our waitress Kissie was excellent. She was nice, attentive and very good at her job.

Parking: Easy to park .

Beautiful view right on the big lake. We had a window seat and it was great!
I ordered 2 appetizers and they were both very good. Pot stickers and a crispy mandarin orange chicken. Downed a couple of draft beers with them.
My wife got green salad with steak tips. The tips were amazing. She described them as "steak nuggets". Tender, flavor full and cooked perfectly. "A touch smaller than traditional tips, they melted in your mouth" she said.
Our waitress was attentive and got our order 100% right. Quick with the check, it was a great experience. We totaled about $80 plus tip.
