The bartender Lily is always great she's very personable and friendly and always remembers our drink order.
I tried the wagyu meatloaf last night with macaroni and cheese and spinach and it was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time.
I also like the little added touches like packing up leftovers for the customer, which most places don't do any longer.
My husband and I always look forward to our nights out at the Canoe!
We dined downstairs in the lounge area and were very happy! The food was excellent and our waiter was, friendly and polite providing good service with out neglecting or over attentiveness allowing us to enjoy our meal. We had the Halibut special (outstanding) and the baked haddock along with candied pork belly appetizer. YOU CANNOT GO wrong at the Canoe restaurant.
You can tell a lot about a restaurant when its parking lot is always full! The wonderful shuttle driver/valet helped us park and gave us some wonderful food recommendations. Though it was a little bit before a host came (it was very busy), it was a normal wait before we got seated. Our waitress was very nice and attentive - my chicken caesar salad was pretty good, absolutely no issues. My aunt and uncle had the beef tenderloin medallions, and honestly, there was nothing left!...
