Every time we come, there is something new and exciting. Poggio presents a welcome change from the other lakeside dining options.

This isn’t worth the trip. The menu is trying to hard to the point that things are virtually unrecognizable. They have lost their way. Why smoke beautiful hand made pasta? Then cover it in honey? Every dish is one or two steps too far. Gusto is great. Stay in that lane: fresh delicious simple ingredients.

Had been there 3 yrs ago and had a stellar meal. Finally got around to trying it again. They have changed their format a bit which wàs fine, but food quality has not changed. Craft cocktails were very good. Apps and mains were timely and tasty. Limited wine selection but found a nice Barolo on the menu.If it was closer to home we would be regulars. Good food and good atmosphere.

Exceptional evening to celebrate a family birthday All 14 of our party gave rave reviews from the pizza to Ocean view and Fan favorite we were given a separate room for our party. They accommodated our Vegan and Vegetarían and omnivore crowd. And thrilled the little guys and their dessert requests. Maddie our waitstaff was attentive accommodating and so easy with the kids. This made for a marvelous family memory.

We sat outside at the beer garden and ordered the dry run wings, chicken Parm sandwich, taco, 2 slices of pizza, 1 beer, 1 wine and 2 lemonades ($105). 3 out of 4 of us didn't prefer our meals (and the last of us isn't picky if there is beer involved). The food was similar to school cafeteria quality but the price wasn't. The location is cute with yard games, but we won't be going back to the beer garden (different menu inside so can't comment on that).

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our experience at Poggio’s! The food was creative and delicious, the cocktails were wonderful and our server, Maddie, was a delight. Everything was very farm-to-table fresh and presented beautifully… I had a pasta special that was a perfect balance of flavors and textures; my husband had a seafood entree that was fresh flavored and colorful. We finished with a dessert baked by owner Sweets’ mom - it was amazing! We will DEFINITELY return often!

Sat outside, they only had 2 wine . Rose’ , a pink and a cheap white. Couldn’t get a good glass of wine and there are no app’s except crackers and nuts . Begged for the inside bar to bring out a nice wine bottle . Out side is beer a bad food Nope no shot . Never will I be back , I recommend you pass by this place . Awful !!’

My pre-covid visit was good. Limited menu, tasty meals, very pricey, service a bit on the slow side. Recently learned that takeout is not an option until the fall. Place closes 700pm on Sundays.

This was our first visit to Poggios and we were in the Taphouse section under the pavilion. Our plan was to enjoy a pizza and some craft beer. Unfortunately, you can not order pizza directly from the Taphouse area staff, but instead you need to go to the Poggios Kitchen building to order it under "to go" and bring it back to your Taphouse table. On a positive note the beer selection was decent and we enjoyed our choices.

Experienced my first time dining here tonight after many recommendations from my sister who is a big fan and WOW. I personally had the Foragers, and it was incredible. The gnocchi were large and tasted almost like the wrapper of a doughy Peking ravioli?? That mixed with the sauce and the mushrooms was just beyond incredible. There is no other word for it. My husband had the Yabba Dabba Doo and was absolutely blown away by all the flavors of the beef and the textures of both the beef and potatoes being incredible. My sister had the Fan Favorite which is loves and my brother in law came back for the Like Mom used to make which he loves. The chef came out to greet us which was awesome and a very nice personal touch and I would also like to give a shout out to our server Courtney who was knowledgeable, super friendly, attentive, and over all, the best!!!

Vegetarian options: The meal that I had, the Foresters Gnocchi is vegetarian and it was beyond incredible.

First off, this place is quality over quantity. You're not going to get a huge house app salad, but you'll get a proper portion of appetizer and the salad is going to be incredible. You're not going to get olive garden portions of pasta, you'll get enough to fill you up and it's going to be AMAZING pasta. It seems the poor reviews really get offended that a quality restaurant charges quality prices and that American portions are so ingrained into us that we can't fathom somewhere that doesn't make you overeat. This place is awesome. We had both the Caesar and the Spring salad and it was better than any restaurant in the Lakes Region. We had the specials, a gnocchi and a street corn pasta. The pasta is firm and chewy, you can tell it's homemade. The service was friendly, food came quick.I expected this place to be rated higher. It really is the best meal I've had at any restaurant in this area.

If you are looking for an amazing dining experience in Center Harbor, this is the place you will find it. From the adirondack chairs on the lawn overlooking the harbor, the host Diane, and our wonderful server; add funky, cool, timeless decor, and you will instantly know Osteo Poggio's Craft Kitchen is not only welcoming; but memorable. Owner and Chef Sweets does not disappoint in his creative menu or his professionalism, as he made a point to thank us for coming. His food is by far some of the most delicious and unique flavorings in NH. The food was phenomenal. Our starters, (Meatball skillet with focaccia garlic knot, and fried asparagus) and our main entrees hit the mark of deliciousness. My wife said her dish (Devil Went Down To....) was the best meal she’s ever had outside of her Italian home growing up, and my crazy chicken parm ramen (Kinda Like Mom Made #5) was out of this world. A light dessert of shortbread with fresh fruit topped off a spectacular dining experience. The restaurant, the food, and those behind creating an amazing culinary experience deserve an applause. Food made from the heart. We left feeling like family. We could not have asked for a better dining experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Was here with friends. Ordered a 9 dollar salad and never in my life did I get a cup, yes you read correctly, a cup of salad. Very disappointed. The restaurant was extremely warm and we were not allowed to open the door, hence ate uncomfortably.Extra cheese is charged. Just a heads up.

They have a great, new outdoor pavilion with beer and snacks. That’s where we were. We started with a “who loves the sun” and then a “dog and pony show”. Both were your average light, summery beers. The “dog and pony show” allegedly had kiwi and grapefruit in it but not that I could taste. We had a chips and dip which appetizer was original Lay’s potato chips and some aioli dip.For my entree I had the “chicky parm”. To me it tasted like my high school’s frozen chicken patty slathered in the sweetest tomato sauce I ever tasted. The sauce definitely could have used some salt and pepper. All in all it was a nice vibe. There was a light breeze, there was live music, but I don’t think I’d eat outside again. I would probably just have appetizers and beer. I would still like to try the restaurant though.2 sandwiches, 4 beers and chips were $80.20, not including tip. Speaking of tip, how much do you tip someone who pours beers and puts an order in? They do not have table service, a runner brings the food out. We tipped, don’t come for me.

Kid-friendliness: For the love of god, please don’t bring your screaming kids here. They ruin the vibe.

This was our first time back since the new owner (who is also head chef) took over. Let’s just say that our food was wonderful. We loved it all. However, id you’re looking for an overall 5-star experience, this is what we found a bit off:-server training was lacking. I do understand that staff is hard to find, but both servers in the dining area were clueless about specials, what was in each dish, and didn’t seem too eager to seek out the info they didn’t know-This location presents itself as somewhat upscale (for this area). Great menu items with a high price tag for example. So when our server comes over with a dirty shirt and a backwards baseball hat, we were taken aback a little. The other server had a fluffy hot pink hat on which seemed out of place and unprofessional. ***I would like to note that both of them were super friendly. I just think maybe a dress code and a little staff training could go a long way to make this place extra special.-The cardboard menus were dirty. Mine was crumpled and crusty. Just throw it out and use a new one :)-We sat by the window and there were a lot of dead flies. It’s an old building so that’s inevitable, but we got there right when they opened. Just vacuum a little before you open.Again, the food was wonderful. The chef came out to talk to us, which was a nice touch. Desserts are home made and delicious. I’m just nitpicking for those who are nitpicky…

Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free (cauliflower) crust for their pizzas. Our servers weren’t aware but once they checked, they learned it was an option. It was tasty.
