“We had an amazing experience at SapHouse Meadery! The food was absolutely delicious, and the mead was out of this world—perfectly crafted and so refreshing. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. “great place, creative, great service, arcade, relaxing. however all for extra toppings but with thin crust pizza for the base the product ratio don't add up. your toppings topple off. you gotta eat it with a fork and knife till the middle, too much topping for thin crust. great Pizza though”

“We’ve had a home on the lake for more than 50 years and, this evening, is the first time we visited this outstanding, hidden gem, fun, vibrant, wonderful, restaurant. Our server, Pam, is beyond superb… Friendly, great sense of humor, faster than greased lightning, and the food was tremendous. We were in and out in 35 minutes, the food was delivered piping hot to our table, delivered to us faster than we had time to close the menu after ordering, wonderful place and we will return many times again. “Really delicious wines! We stopped at the end of the cookie tour and did a tasting. The standard wines were good, and their special flavors were excellent. I’m not usually one for sweet wine but their Riesling, cranberry, and Havana were all delicious. Really nice atmosphere for wintertime as well.”

And, the atmosphere is lovely including the exposed tin ceiling. The staff are so cheery and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful cafe experience. Worth our 45 minute drive.”

“The food was good and the atmosphere was great, the waitress was not very attentive to our table though.. I did ask to be put away from people due to my wife's health and getting ready for her bone marrow transplant so that might have scared her to not come over to our table much. I ordered a carrot cake to go but never received it, I forgot all about it when I paid the check but I was at the counter buying some glasses so it wasn't like I just up and left, there was time for the waitress to bring it out or could have brought it out when I paid the check but she didn't. other than that it was very good and their light beer I got was excellent.”

I love the unique cozy atmosphere, the very friendly service and not to forgot the different tasty courses including the pizza. I did not pay attention to a wine-list, but when I asked for a recommendation - I enjoyed a perfectly chilled white wine from Austria. I WILL be back soon.”

“Leslie and her team are phenomenal! Off the charts amazing. We first meet Leslie to taste test our wedding menu, we were pretty boring just saying we wanted tacos, we got to her adorable place and she had different kinds of meat, the fixings, cold corn salad, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and gosh it was all so good. Leslie was very responsive and her team showed up timely and set up and they were so friendly. they served buffet style and cleared tables for us. They packed up all the left over food and told me where they put It and the cleaned up like spotless, you never would’ve known they were there! The food was amazing and I tell everyone about Ballroom Catering! Thank you Leslie and team!”

“I have been enjoying Breakfast at Deb`s for many years now. I traveled for work over many years both here and abroad . Always enjoyed Breakfast at the Hyatt and other great hotels. I will state now that Deb`s has become my place to be for a quiet wakeup. No noise, clatter of dishes, cacophony of multiple conversation while a slowly scan the news. Some of the complaint I have read always speak to speed of getting your meal. This is not a drive thru. You want to enjoy your meal, This is the place.”

“Ordered 3 pizzas and 3 sides. When I showed up, I was informed another customer had picked up my takeout by mistake. To fix the situation the gentleman at the counter (later I found out the son of the owners at this family owned establishment) took $75 from his own pocket and gave the other customer his meal free, and then made me an extra 3 large 1 topping pizzas. He even refused when I said I'd pay for the other gentleman's meal and I didn't want it to come from his pocket. Did not give me a chance to tip with my card either. I will be coming back whenever we need good food, and always leaving a large tip. Fantastic service!”

“Great food, slow service, but worth the stop\n\nWe were a group of five staying nearby and looking for a good local spot to get dinner before settling in. This place popped up with several great reviews, so we gave it a shot. The food definitely delivered!\n\nWe ordered the sampler (with double chicken tenders and potato skimmers), two orders of mozzarella sticks, and the mac & cheese with ribs. Everything came out hot and packed with flavor. We even got onion rings which we didn’t order but were happy to see. Total comfort food and worth the wait. I also had the Painkiller cocktail, which was strong but definitely hit the spot.\n\nThat said, service was slow across the board. It took a while just to get acknowledged, then more time to get drinks, even more for the food, and the bill took a while too. They were clearly busy, and our server Jen was friendly and attentive when she was with us, but the wait times added up.\n\nThe atmosphere felt very “homey” kind of like a small town hangout where everyone knows each other. As someone who rocks an afro, I definitely stood out, the place lacked diversity and that was noticeable. Still, we didn’t feel unwelcome, just very aware of it.\n\nOverall, it’s a cozy, homey spot with great food. Just go in knowing it might be a slow-paced experience, especially on a busy night.”
