This cafe is really a bistro. Everything about it just keeps getting better. The chef is French and he knows how to prepare a meal that is not only excellent, but pleasingly presented. Today they started serving brunch. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, fingerling potatoes and salad was amazing. Great coffee from local Roof Top Roasters is the anchor. The staff is local and makes any guest feel welcome. I cannot recommend The Foothills highly enough.
So much fun last night after John Davidson's show! Everyone there is amazing. Love this restaurant / shop! A favorite stop in Sandwich. 🥰
Great find. Looks like they kill it with coffee, cappuccinos, Americans, ect. we had a quick drink after hiking in the heat. Very nice.

The Foothills Restaurant is a real community gathering spot. It is locally owned and woman owned. Guests can ski right out the back on the fairgrounds, fill a coffee cup before heading out on the trail, and return to fill their belly with mushroom bisque and amazing ravioli. The service is friendly and skillfully made coffees, and there are many books to browse. Staff recommend chocolates and give tips to avoid icy patches. The atmosphere feels like a favorite aunt’s house with cozy, delicious meals. Popular items include the Smoked Turkey Panini, Bresaola Sandwich, and mozzarella and tomato sandwich, though the latter was skimpy and missing greens. Kids enjoy the kid's meals. The apple pie is worth the trip. The cafe is adorable with cute things and cute country stuff and a country atmosphere. Some slow service and staff talking at the bar were noted, but overall the food and service were outstanding.
