A thoroughly bizarre experience, beginning upon arrival with having to stand foolishly in the crowded hostless entryway for a painfully long time without acknowledgement, only to be seated 15 minutes late (with no apology) in a room so loud that one must crescendo every sentence against their will, followed by a dinner peppered with *several* irksome comments made by our waitress, the worst example being the waitress’s suggestion to the entire table that my sister-in-law accepted the other waiter’s offer to help scrape her leftovers into a to-go-box “because he’s a male” — which, as I think about it more and more on this cool July night, is such a literally unbelievable thing to say, that I’ve begun to theorize that there simply must be more to this story, that we must have walked into the aftermath of a culinary discord that boiled over and left a hostess dead, and that our night fell victim to some final act of sabotage.
I will not be back to find out.

First time at Angelina’s and have to say it was everything I have heard. The food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was intimate. It is a little loud but no more than I have experienced at other restaurants.

We have been going here for years and it is such a special place to us. They never disappoint and the food is the best Italian around. You can taste how fresh the food is and you know that everything is freshly made. It is delicious every time!
We love the small atmosphere and reservations only. We never feel rushed or overwhelmed. I love how the staff will not bring out your entree until we are done saying the appetizer. And they will not offer us dessert until we have finished our Entree. The presentation of the dessert menu is so unique and beautiful. It’s a little piece if Italy.
Highly recommend: Veal Marsala with Rissoto Vegetable Caneloni Tiramisu

The food is always delicious, we have never had a bad bite to eat. The servers give excellent suggestions for wine pairings. I had chicken francese the last time, the chicken was very tender and the sauce was Lite and delicious. Thank you for another wonderful meal!

Went for my 30th anniversary which they knew. Booked ahead of time. Walk in served and seated before us, slow service, lack of attention and food quality not close to years ago. As very disappointed. Won’t be back unfortunately.

This is where my wife and I had our first date. The food is usually excellent. Occasionally, the risotto is a bit crunchy, underdone. a bit noisy since they opened up the bar area. Once was a quiet retreat on Depot Street. May need to I stall noise dampeners. Otherwise, really good food and staff
