Found this gem years ago when in town. Now it's a destination whenever we're even somewhat close by. Not the fancyest place. But the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We make special trips just to eat at Jonathon's.A bonus is we also take a ride through the covered bridge just down the road.
Stopped by while staying in town for a few days. The restaurant is cute and very clean. We had an awesome server who seemed to be doing quite a few jobs at the same time and she was definitely killing it!The Home Baked Cheese Biscuits – w/honey butter was a total hit and it's a must try!My husband got the blackened salmon and I tried the lunch special shrimp scampi- the portion was perfect. We also split the fillet haddock which had the lightest flaky crust and tasted fresh and delicious!A must try when in town, would definitely return next year!
First time here on 9/25/21 and it was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was such a sweetheart, very outgoing, and very attentive. Big shoutout to the chef, every dish was DELICIOUS! My family let each other try each dish and we had not a single complaint. We got the lobster scampi, swordfish steak, and 2 combo dinners with scallop, haddock and shrimp. Every dinner was flavorful, great portions, and did I mentioned delicious?! We come to North Conway a couple of times a year and we will Definitely be making this a dinner spot on our trips!
Worth every penny! The lazy man's lobster was amazing along with the rice pilaf. My husband got the scallops and they were fresh and succulent. We got it to go so that we could have a picnic by the covered bridge. Delicious!
Been years since I've eaten at Jonathans. Steamers are very good. Better stew in the valley though.
Everything is delicious. Scampi is a must.
We went for lunch. Ordered two lobster rolls and two cheese biscuits with water. Should have asked what their "market price" on lobster was: that is totally on me, but we were going based off prices at other places. Our bill was over $80. If the food was on par or better with the other places we visited on our trip, perhaps we would not be kicking ourselves as much. Alas, too expensive for an average lunch.
This place is not fancy but the food is pretty darn good! We had seafood despite the fact it is well inland and we were not disappointed. Check the menu on line---very diverse. Not fully staffed because of Covid but staff that is there are nice people and the service is good.
Our meals were prepared well. Good atmosphere and good selection. Sweet waitress and the lobster roll was out of this world!
Good was ok? But the popcorn shrimp had a WEIRD taste n our waitress was kinda hard of hearing

Everything tasted good, although it could have used better seasoning. The server was also very friendlyand helpful. 35 bucks for a bit of scallops, shrimp, haddock, and a beer is too high though.
Excellent food. I had scallops and shrimp over linguini. It was too much to finish and glad I couldn't because I got to experience it 2 more times. Once for lunch and a dinner the next day. Paris our waiter was very accommodating and entertaining as he couldn't removed a lemon seed off our table and flicked off for a 3 point field goal. I totally give this place 5 forks! Loved the decorations too. Will definitely go to this place when I get a chance.
My husband and I ate here Sept. 14,2021. I neglected to get our servers name but we came in around 3:30pm. She is tall, slim and wears glasses. I’m only mentioning this because I want her to know how much her service was appreciated. She was absolutely wonderful! I was very uneasy due to COVID to eat in but she was so reassuring and even offered to get a mask to make me comfortable. Not many people would do this. She strategically seated us and really went out of her way for us. She kept a safe distance, probably for my comfort, but her service wasn’t lacking at all. She was still very personable and warm. We had a not-so-good experience at a restaurant the evening before, so I wanted to make sure to give her the compliment she deserves. The food was also so great! I had the pan seared scallops with onion rings and creme brûlée. My husband had the baked combo with potatoes and blueberry pie. EVERYTHING was scrumptious. Thank you for such a wonderful all-around experience. We would for sure come here again!
Got a takeout order of a Fried Seafood platter $35!! Large chicken tender $15!!A clam chowder and a side of fries… The total came up to 68 dollars!!! I was fine paying the money until I saw the quality and quantity of the food. My fried seafood platter was soggy and Luke warm. And the side of fires ( maybe 8 total) was added to my $15 chicken tender plate. The sea food plater at market price was not freshly made and was of bad quality. Also the front desk lady Alena had poor customer service skills!
Delicious. Ordered clam chowder, lobster roll, blue berry pie a la mode and... another one! Family loved it!
