Highly recommend Moat Mountain for beer and food. From GA on a trip to visit family and stopped by for lunch. Food and service were great. Took advantage of their quantity special to bring home a few extra beverages. Beyond all this.. on the trip back and 4 states away I realized I’d left my credit card at the table. Before I could ask there was an offer to put it in the mail for me. I was totally impressed. Thank you Jimmy! Will dine in for sure on our visit next summer.

Amazing service. Waiters are super attentive, food came out quickly and was DELICIOUS. Host and waiters are kind and friendly.

Something seems to have changed.

My wife and I drove by this place three times, as the sign has become very faded and not really familiar with this area. Needs a paint job. Server was wonderful!!
Men’s restroom smelled of urine.
Not so clean.
Will not go back soon.

We were seated roughly an hour ago, yet it took a solid 40 minutes for us to finally get our beers and one (1) (only one (1)) pretzel.

Meanwhile, the young/hot table has been served promptly. Also the beer isn’t anything to write home about.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Food was average. Came to the table almost cold. "Wood fired" Pizza was soggy. Asked the waitress what kind of tequila was in the house specialty margarita and she couldn't tell me. Even after going to "check" and was not able to tell me what kind of tequila they did have. $15 for a margarita made with well tequila is a little much, and it didn't have the slightest taste of tequila at all....tasted only like apple cider and cinnamon. Never got the glass of wine I ordered Food took 45 minutes to get to the table.

Parents beware!!! Our toddler electrocuted himself on loose wiring in this location. The manager came over and subsequently also electrocuted himself and instead of de-escalating the situation started to get defensive. It really ruined our night. The way everything was handled is on par with the defensive replies they offer to the less than favorable reviews.

The food was less than mediocre, absolutely not worth visiting.

The only saving grace was the waitress who was really great.

Avoid this place for your safety! They don’t want to take any responsibility they will just get defensive about anything that goes wrong, whether that’s food or a potentially life threatening incident involving your kids.

Mixed experiences. We had to go two nights in a row because of scheduling. One night our server was sweet but kind of meh. We had to ask for everything multiple times (napkins, plates for our appetizers, silverware, drinks, etc). It’s not a big deal but annoying. My sandwich was fine, nothing to write home about. My father liked the barbacoa bowl. The cider margarita was weak as heck. The next night it was so loud inside. Our server was great though. My husband got a sausage sandwich special of some kind and it was really good. I got the black bean wrap and it was good too. My Moscow mule (or their equivalent) was fine but again, really weak. So overall mixed but it’s fine. Family friendly and a huge menu.

We have been customers since 2001, and went for dinner 4 days ago after many years. The nachos were good, but the ribs were cold, fatty we didn't like them at all. We told our server we didn't like how they tasted and didn't want more ribs. She located the manager who insisted on bringing us more ribs. He didn't ask me what I would like in replacement, the ribs were still not to our liking and we expected them to be taken off our dinner bill. We will not be returning.
