“Last night, we visited the Foundation Tavern in Derry, NH. The parking lot was small and tight, which may make alternative parking options preferable. Upon entering, the music volume was high; as a hearing aid user, I found the sound sensitivity increased. The hostess confirmed there was live music and accommodated our request to be seated away from it, so we sat in the main dining room.
Our server introduced herself and promptly took our drink order, despite the dining room being busy and her serving alone. Having dined at many restaurants over the years, we were understanding of any minor mistakes. I requested a different bottle of wine after initially ordering the wrong one, and the change was handled without issue.
When she inquired about appetizers, we declined and ordered dinner. My wife chose the burger, while I selected the Bolognese. Our meals arrived quickly; however, my wife's burger was served without a bun. This was due to the assumption that her side salad indicated a low-carb preference instead of fries. Morgan, our server, checked in and corrected the plating promptly. My wife noted that the burger was especially well-prepared, and I found the Bolognese comparable to those of high-end Italian restaurants.
The evening was enjoyable overall. Other customers contributed to a positive atmosphere, including a nearby birthday celebration and a guest complimenting my wife's outfit.
Pricing was about 20% higher than average local restaurants, which we considered justified based on the quality provided.
We will visit again. Probably on a Wednesday night because they offer half price bottle of wine with dinner and we are wind drinkers.“

“Wow! The Puritan Backroom was out to impress yesterday. We chose to order from them for our daughter and son in laws “I Do BBQ”. So much food! So delicious! Everyone was very happy with everything. There was way more than expected! Thank you!“

“I had my son's graduation party yesterday, July 12, 2025. I rented out their space behind the bar at an affordable price. I worked closely with the General Manager, Jamison Colcord. He was wonderful to work with during the planning stage as well as the day of the event. He even got there an hour before the event, so I could put up decorations. The staff members that were assigned to assist my party were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. If I ran out of food, Jamison and the staff did everything they could to get me the additional food I needed for my guests (I had 13 teenagers to feed :). They took care of boxing the leftover food and cleaning the space after the party was over. My friends and family who attended the party said that they didn't know Margarita's rented out space and said the food and the party were wonderful. I would definitely rent the space again for an opportunity to work with Jamison and the staff again at Margarita's on Elm Street in Manchester, NH.“

“We picked up 3 Hot and Ready platters for my son birthday party today and not only were they SOOOO GOOD but they were also on time and ready for us when we got there! We got the 5 cheese, bacon, and taco Mac and cheeses and they were definitely a hit at the party! Thank you for providing a delicious meal for everyone today! “The Baby Shower cake was superb. Everyone asked where we bought it. I told them about your move from Salem on Rt 28 to Windham, everyone had a generous slice and took extra home with them. “WOW. My husband and I were beyond impressed with Mike’s. The service was outstanding from reservation to check. The FOOD was unreal. Fresh homemade pasta and sausage/meatballs, flavorful crispy calamari and ham & fig flatbread were phenomenal. I had some gluten free options. The drinks were also fantastic! I especially loved the peach mule. Our waiter Rip was lovely. He was very busy but he treated us like we were his only guest which feels rare nowadays. The price was really reasonable compared to our usual regular Italian places (which have now been replaced by Mike’s Italian Kitchen). I highly recommend this place for great Italian food in a cozy but lively atmosphere!“

“New Taj India is a bit of a hidden gem just outside the core of downtown Nashua. Arriving between lunch and dinner crowds, it was a bit quiet. Owner Ginny met me at the door and took care of me from there. The restaurant is beautifully - and authentically - decorated, giving the experience a nice vibe. To start, I dove into an order of soft and sweet Punjabi Nan which comes with a couple of sauces for dipping. Then came Taj Choice, a mixed platter of appetizer items and more sauces; everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. I could have stopped there, but no. For the main came a monster bowl of Taj’s Special Biryani - which I ordered spicy hot - loaded with lamb, chicken, shrimp, almonds, vegetables, cashews, raisins, and comes with a side of Raita to temper the spice. I walked away very happy and with enough Biryani left over for a meal the next day. Highly recommended.“

“We stopped at Romanos last night for dinner on our way home from Manchester. We have driven by several times and this was our first time stopping. This particular night our waitress was great at first but after sitting there for two hours and eating the free bread,an appetizer and an entree along with two cocktails we were told we could not get a dessert martini. She claimed it was a "new rule". Strange because we have done this before. She offered us dessert, we said no thank you. We were already disappointed with the Chicken Primavera and my fiance's under cooked ravioli. She walks away without offering the check and has her coworker come over with takeout boxes and starts boxing up our meals. I asked if most of my meal could be put in the box without all the excess oil because my food was drowning in it. The brunette with glasses made the comment that the oil will get absorbed by the pasta. So rude!! Don't get!! It's oil not water and my food was drowning in it. I have never felt so kicked out in my life!! It was 6:30 on Friday. Thanks ladies.“

“As someone who had gastric bypass surgery over five years ago and struggles with hypoglycemia, this place is an absolute lifesaver. I was able to get treats and able to actually savor them today without getting sick. I was able to get cupcakes for my daughter‘s birthday, which I will actually be able to enjoy for the first time in a long time without the fear of being sick.
