We were loyal customers of School Street Cafe and have recommended them many times over as well as done countless business with them but, today, that has sadly come to an end. It had become our family tradition to go every week and enjoy a muffin, when they were available. Two out of three of us are gluten free and finding gluten free items that taste like they aren’t is not easy. I’m stunned that after years of loyal weekly patronage (and driving from a far distance to do so) that School Street Cafe’s owner called me to say ‘Sorry, but we will not set aside gluten-free pastries any longer because (after routinely setting aside our order) we are adopting a first come, first served policy’ we live a long enough distance away that it is not at all practical to drive nearly 50 minutes just to be told ‘Sorry but we just sold out!’ This was our...read full review
This is probably the most quaint coffee shop in the most quaint town in all of New England! Fantastic coffee and bfast food! An amazing vibe! Highly recommend if you are ever near Dunbarton NH
