“Sawbelly burger, get it!! It's as good as any burger at Tuckaway. In fact it is a Tuckaway burger! Great brewery with delicious food. Not all beers are great but you can sample them and find something suitable. Beer flights are $13 and the pours are generous.I love the ambiance and the coziness of the booths against the wall. They often have live music which, most recently, was quite awful. Fortunately, the volume was low enough on the restaurant side to make it bearable.I love the service and, in summer, they have a huge outdoor seating area that is dog friendly.“
“One of the nicest places to eat in Exeter. We got a great table on the patio in the back overlooking the Squamscott river. I started with an excellent margarita, and then had the blackened haddock tacos -- tender flaky fish, fresh avocado, really tasty! It came with a side of cole slaw, which was also good -- not too creamy. Overall atmosphere of the place is charming, with indoor dining just as nice as outdoor. Waitstaff was great. Will definitely come here again!“
“I really enjoyed my first visit to Street. My brother and I sat at the bar and enjoyed a salad and the noodle bowl along with a nice glass of white wine. The server was pleasant and there was a nice unrushed peaceful atmosphere about the place. I would definitely go back.“
“I enjoyed a lovely evening at Epoch last night. I just love this place every time we go. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce was the perfect complement to the steak potatoes and broccolini. I would have liked a few more options on the menu. The cocktails were great. The server, Sean recommended a perfect wine pairing with my steak. Sean was an excellent server, personable, professional and very attentive. We will definitely be going back!“
“Great top shelf food and drink in an old house in the middle of nowhere. We tried this because we were referred to it by a family member. Otherwise we never would have found the place. Glad we did find it. It really is in the middle of nowhere. The dining areas are nothing special--you either eat in the bar or at a high top in the main dining room but ovrall the place has a sports bar atmosphere. Nothing fancy. The menu, however, is very high-end as are the drink selections. We had the ceasar salad for an appetizer and the steak tips. Ceasar was excellent and the tips perfectly cooked. Great portions. The Dunks mushrooms were fantastic. We even had dessert, the chimichunga. Excellent. Sevice was flawless. A little pricey but would definitely go back despite the drive (for us anyhow). Note to Management: Covid is over and even my teen children dislike reading the menu on their phones. Print some menus and laminate them if you must. Also, thank you for disclosing the "non-cash surcharge" on the chalkboard as you walk in but maybe 50% of your customers register that and maybe 50% of those even know what it means. I'm sure not everyone notices the surcharge on their bill and I'm also sure 100% of diners hate junk fees. Call it what it is--a credit card fee. Better still, just raise your prices 3% and do away with it and give a 3% cash discount. That would sound sooo much better...“
“We finally were able to get in here. Let me just say it was amazing. Everything was great. Dean our server was awesome. I would highly recommend going if you haven’t been. We had the lobster rangoons for the app. For dinner we had the Lazy lobster with Pillows. We can’t wait to go back. Now we understand why it’s hard to get in here. Make reservations in advance. Highly recommended. Thank you Phat Cat.“
“Very clean. Food is really delicious, the tacos are really great. Fresh made chips and house made salsa are awesome. Queso dip amazing. Sangria is really really good. Chef Elvis and Chef Chris are excellent owners and so hospitable! Really nice outdoor patio too!“
“A local hole in the wall tucked away in downtown Hampton. The menu is simple fairly priced and everything is made to order. Staff are friendly service was quick and we did not wait long for the food to arrive. Great selection of toast and pastries. No frills but worth a visit. Off street parking makes it easy to access.“
“Elizabeth has delicious vegetarian food with an excellent selection of salad, soups and main dishes. Her prices are very reasonable and the quality is always spot on. Her extensive experience shows from her bread to her cookies. Amesbury is lucky to have this wonderful opportunity for take out food, not fast food.“
“I finally had the chance to go to The Riverworks since the new owners and I'm so glad I did! I was greeted with a smile and sat with a friend at a great little table for two. We both had a strong and tasty drink and a beer with the absolutely delicious beer-battered chicken tenders and a charcuterie board. It's a really cozy, intimate place to hang out and I would go back in a heartbeat!“
“Our favorite steady spot for date night. Great cocktails (Coco marg! Great bourbon list!), amazing chicken sandwich, great steak tips, and the park fries are a 10/10. We always sit at a high top on the bar side or at the bar. Can’t recommend it enough.“
“First time visit and well worth it. Many beers on tap including several of their own, all which were very good. No flights offered however 4oz half pours serves the same purpose. The food was excellent as was our server. We were a party of 6 and were well taken care of in every way. We will certainly be back.“
“This charming old school diner/cafe is my go-to place when I am in town. Well prepared, vast choice of traditional breakfasts, with outstanding home made corned beef hash. Lunch specials are usually good as well. His fish chowder on Fridays only Are worth travelling far for. I reccimmend.“
“Locals is a classic example of a sports bar. They have improved over the years but still stick to their roots. On this particular visit, we noticed how they hustled to keep everyone happy on Saint Patrick's Day. They are great at what they do.This restaurant has a massive bar, multiple TVs to watch sports, and games such as dart boards. Perfect place to catch up with friends. The drinks are STRONG! Each time I visit I can only handle one. As for the food, it is decent. If you stick to the apps and comfort food you will be satisfied. If you're looking for a drink and to watch a game, I recommend Locals.“
“Overall a great experience!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, the staff were fantastic and friendly! Plenty of parking and easy to get to! Highly recommend this place!Parking: Plenty of off street parking!Kid-friendliness: Have a good kids menu!“
“I love this place! My 3 visits so far have all been great. The nachos were huge and they use real good cheese but I wish i asked for jalapenos on them. The herradurra reposado was flowing and so was the allagash white. The buffalo cobb salads are the best. Please dont change them! They are huge and in my opinion the best salad in Hampton/Seacoast area. Tv's on everywhere for entertainment. Friendly staff.“
“Dined at Seaglass for first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. There were six of us. I gave it 4 stars vs 3 based on atmosphere, views and experience. Restaurant was not full on Friday night so we sat by the window. Views of the ocean and waves even at night are amazing. Restaurant itself has a great vibe and nice lighting. Food and service were not as great. Good for an average restaurant but for a $500 bill, I'd expect a higher level of service and food quality. Service was somewhat slow and not as attentive as you'd expect, but server was friendly and doing her best. Our group had a range of entrees from lobster rolls to filet and baked haddock. Lobster rolls were excellent, as was the burger. Haddock was just OK and catch of the day was average. Entrees only come with 1-2 small sides, no salads. I'd visit again for the views of the ocean and recommend sticking with a more basic entree for the price.“
“We definately will visit again. The server/bartender was prompt and cheerful. Everything looked clean and in its place. We decided to have omelets from their NEW Sunday brunch menu. Hit the spot with a couple Bloody Maria's and a Tequila Sunrise.Love us a local bar/restaurant and it is located inside an old Train Depot, check it out!“
“We stopped by on a whim and was surprised there was live music and no wait. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. The wait staff was on the ball, we got seated quickly and checked on often even though they were busy. Will definitely be going back.“
“We lived in town for over 2 years and went for the first time and it was amazing. The place is way bigger than I thought and they have a big coffee/dessert selection. We were told the wait was 15min and it ended up longer and they comped an app for us which was so cool we didn't expect it. We had a popover, the ahi app (my fav), the autumn flatbread And the Monte Cristo. All delish. The service was the best part everyone was so kind definitely going back.“
“Haven't tried their fried dough, but did get a frozen lemonade which was excellent & reasonably priced. Friendly, fast service! Good spot for meeting up with your family or friends because of the bright orange shop! You can't miss it.“
“Scott the bartender provided excellent service. The steak tips melted in your mouth they were so tender. I could cut them with a butter knife. The fish n chips and burgers were delicious also. This was our first time there and we will definitely be “
“Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was phenomenal. We've been there many times and while we've had many good meals, this past week was a cut above. All meals were beautifully presented, cooked perfectly and delicious. AP many interesting and unique flavors. We went deep on the appetizers. The fried artichokes, and the wagyu meatballs were both a wonderful start, but it was the Tater tots took 1st prize on the apps. Dinner entries were great. Steak, salmon and fish special were all fabulous. And the pear cobbler was a perfect finish. We will be back sooner rather than later.“
“A pleasant surprise. The calamari tempura was delicious and the "Chimichurri Steak" and "Cuban Swordfish" were impeccable. At a booth, it was easy to have a conversation without straining. The server (Laurent) was efficient, attentive, and responsive without being intrusive. Unpretentiously excellent. A memorable tasty and relaxed dinner in no more than an hour.“
“We had a fantastic dinner. An extra bonus was watching the chefs cook, they were like an orchestra so coordinated. The sitting had 26 diners. The menu changes every week. We had bean soup, a choice of smoked salmon salad w potato or polenta with pork ragu, chicken with spinach or cod with carrots, beef with potato and red cabbage or pork and lentils, toffee pudding or funnel cake ( fried dough). Everything was delicious, there was not a single dish that we did not love. Service was attentive and friendly. We will be back!“
