I live close by. Have ordered a “to go “ a few times. Sadly they can’t seem to get anything right! The last time place A simple order of Fish Tacos when opened at home - NO Fish. Then tonight one of the items I ordered was truffle fries. Didn’t know they came blackened?
I don’t understand I used to live close by the Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth and their food was always fabulous! Not sure I will give the Thirsty Moose in Exeter a third try. Very sad.
I am a very picky eater and this place is absolutely amazing! I had the bbq chicken bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The guys said the beer was good. Will visit again when I come back to the area! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful!
The food was good but our waitress, Jen, was SO rude. Probably won’t go back to that location because I don’t want to risk having her as a server again. Thankfully can get my tenders at other locations, because they’re delicious!

The staff is unbelievable, friendly, and on spot, with a server within seconds. The service is excellent every time. The food is amazing, with specific meals like steak tips, Summer Bubbles, Tater Kegs, and Caesar salad with steak tips receiving high praise. The fish tacos were delicious and the chicken & waffle sliders were good. The burger was awesome, and the chicken fingers were the best thing. The pizzas come out good, made by a passionate staff member. The tap list is decent with a large selection of beers, including house beers and various ciders. Specific beers mentioned include BOATLOAD BERRY WHEAT, BULLWINKLE IPA, and FIDDLEHEAD IPA. The atmosphere is decent, with bar seating, hightops, tables, and a patio section. It is considered one of the best restaurants around Exeter and a gem. A complaint is the lack of an outdoor patio, but it is what it is. Overall, it is a great spot that is pretty good for an average spot with a decent meal.
