I am a very picky eater and this place is absolutely amazing! I had the bbq chicken bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The guys said the beer was good. Will visit again when I come back to the area! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful!
I will forever dine here when I’m in town! On Mother’s Day we visited for lunch while in town for a hockey tournament. The food and service were fantastic. Unfortunately, when we arrived home we realized my son had left his blanket there. When I called you could hear the relief in the hostess’ voice that we had tracked it back to them. I had the prime rib sliders and hubby had the cheeseburger sliders. Both were delicious!!! Friendly waitstaff and cozy inside. outside eating looked cozy two, but we chose inside since we were on the motorcycle.

Based on the reviews, Thirsty Moose Taphouse in Exeter, New Hampshire, is a great spot with great service and great food. The staff is unbelievable, friendly, and on spot, with a server within seconds. The service is excellent every time. The food is amazing, with specific meals like steak tips, Summer Bubbles, Tater Kegs, and Caesar salad with steak tips receiving high praise. The fish tacos were delicious and the chicken & waffle sliders were good. The burger was awesome, and the chicken fingers were the best thing. The pizzas come out good, made by a passionate staff member. The tap list is decent with a large selection of beers, including house beers and various ciders. Specific beers mentioned include BOATLOAD BERRY WHEAT, BULLWINKLE IPA, and FIDDLEHEAD IPA. The atmosphere is decent, with bar seating, hightops, tables, and a patio section. It is considered one of the best restaurants around Exeter and a gem. A complaint is the lack of an outdoor patio, but it is what it is. Overall, it is a great spot that is pretty good for an average spot with a decent meal.
